I can't wrap my head around what Marvel hopes to accomplish by asking sites take down the image.

Not only is the news out, but every blog and social media page from here to kingdom come has already spread it around. Officially requesting it be removed more or less confirms the speculation.

I don't know, I will miss superior and it was a great book, but it was based on a really bad idea but it work well and was a great book. Also I'm upset that Marvel is giving into fanboys.

Really Exited about this, It's not that I don't like Otto-Spidey its just that I think Peter's the better Spider-man. Think it might happen in Goblin Nation.

that doesn't mean they don't understand the story, they could simply mean they like him better, of course Pete will be back (thank god) but some people just like superior more.

I just want to see Otto handle Norman while in peters body, and how norman handles the change.

I find it funny that all the people who claim to like Otto better are now proving their lack ability to understand a story. I enjoyed SSM, but the book wasn't meant to last. Even if Peter didn't come back at all Otto's story had to end. Dan Slott has been building and writing the story to a focal point very clearly and bluntly. If the book didn't concluded with Goblin Nation it would have been a bigger lack of pay off then mass effect 3. The ending of a story is EVERYTHING.

yep, dc is making money off of this, too. now that explains everything. it was dc's evil scheme to kidnap peter.

Ramos' art isn't that bad as other artists I know, and Pete's hairstyle was sort of more like Andrew Garfield's so that it can coincide with the movie as well. I mean, bringing Peter back was a pretty good idea because it is also a good jumping point for fans of the movie. You wouldn't want to see new readers jumping on and be like, "What? Spider-Man's a jerk?" As much as I love SpOck, I want Peter back.

I'm glad Pete is coming back. But I am not spending money on Dan Slott's pseudo Spider-Man stories or torturing my eyes with crappy Ramos art.

It is so awesome to have Marvel's front-runner back under the guise of Spider-Man..well, I hope it is Peter Parker.

The picture looks more like Phil rich than Peter, to me at least. Just the way its drawn with the eyes and hair.

We all saw it coming. I'm just annoyed that they're changing the name back. Slott himself said 700 was the end of 'Amazing...' forever. Let's have a Superior Peter Parker.

from what Newsarama says it was the cover to the February 5th issue of All-Marvel Now Previews #3
which is a free issue that contains preview pages of upcoming releases...like issue 2 came out this week and it had previews of Wolverine #1, Fantastic Four #1, Ms. Marvel #1 and some others

I have checked just about every comic news site I know of and they all say Marvel requested to take the image down…something is fishy.

especially since it's already out there and almost everyone has seen at this point...you've got to ask what the point of removing it was....my guess is that they didn't want it spoiled before the solicitations spoil it tomorrow

Facts:

1-All we know is that an Amazing Spider-Man series will be launched..

2-Peter could really be back, that movie kinda really points it out and we know from the past (Captain America and all) that there is a correlation in there.

3- I seriously doubt that Superior will get cancelled, 'cause let's face it, money drives the whole thing. And Superior is still doing very well.

3.1- this is a great publicity stunt, this will make everybody speculate about what will happen in Goblin Nation and everybody will jump in the stores to buy the books.

Speculations:

1-Having the two books running at the same time could really point out which is "Superior"\Sells More....

2-The Amazing title could be a flashback story (this maybe why he looked so young...)

the best thing about superior, imo, was that it made me read batman comics again...

Hope he can hook up with either Mary Jane Watson or Carlie Cooper when he gets his body back.
