If you're reading this, you probably know that things didn't end well for the characters in Frank Miller's "300." The idea of a sequel doesn't seem possible.
Frank Miller has mentioned that he is working on a follow up graphic novel. Zack Snyder recently spoke to MTV about it and clarifies that it wouldn't be a sequel.
“There’s something that happens in history between Leonidas dying at the Hot Gates and Platea,” Snyder said. “That’s a year that’s left out of the [original] movie. A lot happened. Frank is definitely working on an idea. If Frank comes up with a great idea and draws something cool, there’s no reason why we wouldn’t make another movie.”
Would you like to see another "300" movie? Do you think those "intense twelve months of battles" is enough to make a movie out of? More importantly, what would it be called? "300 Part 2" sounds weird and doesn't really make sense since it's not a true sequel. "300 And A Half"? Maybe just a new name altogether?
