Wednesday Comics #1 Reviewed, It's Like A Newspaper

Really looks good.  Wondering what they'll price it at here in Canada though :(
It looks much more fun and interesting than the whole Action Comics Weekly from ten years ago.

I did not realize that they were going to be a newspaper format. When I saw that I had to gobble them up. I mean this is like a major blast from the past. I love it and wish it was longer than 16 pages. I mean it would be cool to have different sections like a real newspaper. But at any rate, I have officially scrambled and secured all 12 parts. I might even buy the trade, who knows.
One beef I have is that they do not fit in regular comic bags. Any ideas on who to store them for optimal quality?

As a collector I'm probably gonna pick it up.

it's a cool idea, i still read a free newspaper from time to time, but the colors on this seem much more vivant than in usual newspapers, I like the idea of breaking out of the usual size of a comic and trying something new, maybe not everyone likes that size but its always okay to try something different.

Nice review, it took away all my questions about this concept.

Wow, a reason to buy newspaper. Never knew that comic in newspaper could've been like this. I thought only comic strip like Dilbert or Garfield that would suit newspaper, kinda cool though

i'm kind of torn about the over-sized pages. on the one hand its awesome to see comics that big but it's also kinda hard to read and control lol.  the price....i couldn't believe it was 3.99 when i bought it.  thats unbelievable.  its only 16 pages.  also the 1 page per character was a terrible idea. ive seen the first 4 pages of Hawkman online before, so now it's like, "oh man, i've seen the first 4 friggin weeks of this book already."  i also would have rather seen characters that don't have their own books.  i mean, supes got what 4 books and supergirl has one, and batman's got one and hal jordan....enough already, yknow.  i would have rather seen some aquaman, either old flashbacks or the new one that's not in anything.  or maybe some old flashback martian manhunter stuff--just some characters that aren't regularlly shown.  i guess i shouldn't complain, atleast Hawkman's in something...

I got mine at a comic store. I had to ask for it because the lady at the counter didn't want anyone fingering them. I didn't read them all yet but so far my favorite was the Supergirl story because it felt like I was reading an actual newspaper comic.
