This looks actually a MILLION times better than the movie... It's almost line-by-line like the comic.

The problem is, Adult Swim doesn't have a Thursday night lineup. All their new shows air on Sundays. I think this was a one-time thing just to tie in with the flick. It'll end up on the special features of the dvd and that'll be that. Though it would be pretty cool (considering most of the people involved with the flick, while talented, aren't necessarily A-listers) if they got the cast together and filled in the blanks the movie left out ala Curse of the Black Pearl in Watchmen.
