Watch a Preview of the First 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Trailer [Updated]

That's the main reason I have hope for this movie. The fact that Bay isn't directing this but simply producing. I feel like a lot of people only hear that Bay is involved and quickly deem it an abomination, yet don't even realize that he's not directing. So maybe there's hope for the Turtles yet.

I love how people are freaking out about how tall the Turtles are, asking how can you be so tall and still be a ninja. Yet they completely ignore the fact that we're literally talking about MUTANT TURTLES who can talk and fight crime. lol

Personally, while I wasn't sure before, after watching the trailer I'm willing to give this movie a shot. Megan Fox was the only thing I was worried about, as I hated her in Transformers, but she surprisingly wasn't annoying here. Hopefully that will translate throughout the entire movie.

personally i think its ba that they a soo big and strong. i wont them to have a presence on screen and to steal every seen they are in even with Megan fox.

I think this will be better then the last two TMNT films no doubt.

My only minor gripe is

A. no Raphael

B. No Splinter

C. Will Casey join the party? hmmm

But I'm sure all of these will be touched upon, if Casey isn't in this one I bet you he'll be in the next one.

I agree. this was hella fun.

Honestly, the size of the turtles doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. They're bigger than average, but they're still somewhat proportional.

I'm going to reserve my opinion until I see more.

Considering how bad this could have been, I actually enjoyed watching the trailer. This makes me excited to see the movie now. Do I expect it to win any awards? No. Do I expect to be entertained? Yes.

It didn't really capture my interests. It seemed pretty generic, honestly. I'm gonna pass.

@thebluedragon07: shes really not, I have never heard anyone praise her acting...ever... Pretty much everyone accepts shes not good so i doubt that shes overrated. Shes just really hot.

But as a lover of the 90's cartoon series and a redhead, I am annoyed that "April O'Neill" Isn't even a redhead in this movie! I know there was a debate about Lois Lanes hair colour in Man of Steel, but I do think it's a very basic thing to correct, and come on....it is kind of important right? You should make a Scooby Doo movie and make Daphne a blonde?! :P

I also dislike Megan Fox in anything.

i thought the trailer wasn't bad (wish turtles were smaller).

I'm trying to keep an open mind, but this is feeling like a whole lot of style over substance. Great style, but no substance all the same. Ninja Turtles are not about exploding buildings.

I don't like Shredder being white, April's father creating the Turtles with Shredder or the Foot using guns.

i think its clear we are getting a very different turtles movie. although that is not a bad thing, it does provide a cause for pause.

Seemed alright. Good trailer.

Because they've primarily been sleek or smaller than humans. This is a relatively big (pun, I guess?) change to their size as well as design. Truthfully, as long as they're still nimble and can act stealthy, I don't mind.

I don't care if it's bad or not. I still want to see it. It's a CGI Ninja Turtles movie instead of the old full body suits so I'm interested to see how these new incarnations workout. I like them tall and wearing all the tattered clothing, too. I wouldn't like it if they're wearing clean costumes, they're fighting crime, they're going to get dirty and torn up.

Honestly, I'm feeling pretty down the middle. I've been expecting popcorn entertainment and it certainly looks like it'll deliver with that, but as for the tone and the handling of the mythos... well, I'd like to see more before feeling strongly one way or the other.

I don't understand people complaining about the size of the turtles when the whole concept of this franchise is based on fantasy. I'm looking forward to this movie, then I'll pass judgement after.

The first 75% could be any trailer talking about heroes. Then the turtles come on and they look ridiculous.

Maaaybe worth watching at home when I just want a dumb action movie. Maybe.

Why is Shredder white?

Remove the Turtles and this could literally be any recent Summer blockbuster. At least Marvel Studios make their movies feel different. Thor isn't Cap, Cap isn't Iron Man, Iron Man isn't Guardians. This is just a generic blockbuster with Turtles.
