As for Jonah Hex, I just want a straight out western with him kicking ass. Maybe with Vandal Savage as the villain and then the villain in the second JL movie. Did I not put Suicide Squad? Hmm, guess not. Deathstroke would be cool too, but I think I'm still in the hope-they-could-still-merge-Arrow-in-with-the-DCCU mode, so I would hate to see it without Manu. Martian Manhunter, I don't know. While I like him, I don't think he could carry out his own movie. Plus, while I love the Supermans, I would like DC to explore other genres within their universe. I think a Grayson movie would be great because it could be all espionagy but also have Bat cameos.

And I really want a proper Jonah Hex movie. Bring back Brolin if you want (he has the swagger), but that needs to be 3:10 to Yuma with Hex and Vandal Savage.

I hear you, mon ami. The advent of the UFC back in the 90's ruined the experience of watching pro wrestling for me forever. But even when I did watch wrestling, I never liked the character of "The Rock" (I was more of a Sting, Bret Hart, Lex Luger kind of guy myself). That said, I think that casting Johnson was a three part equation for DC Entertainment:

1. The obvious name recognition (i.e. his built in WWE fan base of millions) hopefully translating into ticket sales.
2. The fact that he actually played an Egyptian in both the "Mummy Returns" and the "Scorpion King". Never saw that last one, but I do remember seeing the trailer for it. And...
3. Both he and Adam have an identical hairline, headshape, and both can be total a$$holes more often than not.

I feel your pain, because "the Rock" character makes my teeth itch. But even I have to admit that he was great in the movie "Faster" (a couple of my co-workers are huge Rock fans who couldn't understand my dislike of the character so they let me borrow the DVD and made me a deal that if I hated the movie, then they'd never mention the guy's name around me again, nor would they suggest for me to see another movie that he starred in ever again. But "Faster" actually didn't suck, I've got to admit it). That's because he was straight about that action and he wasn't going around screaming "IF YA SMEELLLLLLLLL...." every five minutes (LOL). It was actually watchable, and outside of his "Fast and the Furious" appearances (which were more of an ensemble cast-type situation), I think it was his best appearance on film yet. Although seeing him get that a$$ whooped by Ernie Reyes Jr. in "The Rundown" alone was worth the price of admission, IMO...

I can't really get excited until they make a "Arm Fall Off Boy" movie.

Extremely excited for a possible Wonder Woman and the Justice League move, not as much for the rest.

This is why you have to take movie news that isn't announced by a director (or better) the studio with a grain of salt. There is so much misinformation or mis-portrayal of information out there.

I'm not sure if I buy the updated part of the article...I'd need more evidence from more sources and such. I just find it hard to believe that DC registered the Domain for Shazam before Justice League. Seems like you'd register Justice League before anything.

It's about time Aquaman and Wonder Woman got there own movies!

Hope these movies can change my opinion on DC movies, still haven't seen the dark night returns and really it just didn't interest me and saw man of steel and was not impressed. DC has some great characters so hopefully they do a good job.

@jj_was_here: I would like Jon Hamm for Captain Marvel, and Karl Urban for Black Adam (although I don't think BA should be in the first film).

@jj_was_here: He may be, but he may not be, and if he is in it he may play a minor role. Heck the movie may not even happen, they were going to make a Captain Marvel movie years ago (with Mr. Johnson), but it never happened. Hopefully this one never will either.
