It's not like this Superman ushered in entire industry of Superheroes and had the very first Superhero movie that made people believe that superhero movies could work and it's not like Superman the movie inspired great writers like Mark Waid and Mark Millar, right. I really hope this is successful. The fans deserve a Superman movie to put beside Nolan's Batman trilogy. Competition is good for everything, including movies, so if MoS joins Nolan's Batman, I can only imagine how much Marvel will feel like they have to step up their own movies.

I looooooove this! Screw you haters and naysayers! I really like the Marvel movies, but this will (like the Dark Knight trilogy) show that you can do more with superheroes than just do a good superhero film. You can do a great film, period. Say what you want... as much as I liked the Marvel stuff, not one of their movies was as great, thoughtprovoking and mature as DCs best (Watchmen, Dark Knight Trilogy, V for Vendetta and I bet Man Of Steel). I take serious and full of real emotions any day instead of Downey giving us (albeit great) one liners.

Man, if only they used a popular character like Iron Man. Remember how big Iron Man was back then? He had like 4 movies, and lots of different merchandising such as t-shirts, toys, different animated series, lots of video games (most of his games suck, though) and much more. I wasn't surprised at all at how good his movie turned out to be, you know, since Iron Man was such a popular character (I'd even call him Marvel's classic flagship character).

Superman, on the other hand? Pfft, no one has heard about that guy. There's no way this movie will work.

Generals don't introduce themselves in the fashion of "My name is (First Name) General, (Last Name) Zod" what is that? You say "I am General Zod!" or "I am Zod, General of the Blah blah blah." . . . This feels like an after thought not something well planned to heighten the experience.

cool idea awful execution. his tone and the voice itself is too "soft", not zod at all. it wasnt menacing at all. you are demanding a nation to give someone up but you talk like you ordering a milkshake. doesnt work

This is the film I'm the most excited to see. No doubt Iron Man 3 will be good but it's been promoted so much that I'm not as excited as I was last year. Mystery= Curiosity = Excitement
