I think I would have preffered if Zod used Kryptonian time instead of Earth time. It's not like there are 24 hours a day in Krypton too, right?

That preview image of Superman for this article looks awesome! Where's that from? I'm glad they're building up buzz around this film! But I'm not sure if I'm more nervous or more excited.

Hard to say. While Superman is one of my favorite characters and I'll probably go to see it multiple times in theaters, Iron Man 3 is part of a trilogy plus the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so a lot of people are probably planning on seeing it. But then again Superman is THE superhero and one of if not the most widely recognized symbol on the planet. Personally I do hope he beats Iron Man 3, but it's hard to predict. And as someone else said, I'll just enjoy both.

@flashdamn: somebody is a dc fan. the fact that superman is an origin story hurts its chances of being better. not impossible but the first movie can be slow which is good for the 2nd and 3rd movies as long as the character isnt ruined

Did this trailer make anyone want to re-watch Superman II, or is it just me?

I know that a lot of people are annoyed that they are using Zod, but if this teaser's not evidence that they are trying to move past the stigma created by the original Superman series, I don't know what is.

I like both film, and can't wait to watch them on Cinema. I think Iron Man 3 will be EPIC, and MOS will be the best Superman Origin Movie ever...But if you're to start a fight, I recommend you not to do so, cuz we are more mature than that Bro...

Finally a Modern Superman movie where he fights someone on his level. Zod vs Superman will be epic!

I don't think what he said automatically makes him a DC fanboy. But he likes superman more than Ironman. Actually Superman's Origin is one of his best stories so I say the movie will be great. I don't even mind if its slow. I just want an awesome ending fightscene. backwards to most people though, I like batman begins the best out of that trilogy.

I am a huge smallville fan and I disagree with this. I hated how zod was such a little man to clark. clark was so much bigger than Zod.

@teamunitednerds: I love your thinking, but he does say, "my name is General Zod". I wouldn't be surprised if they do tease the idea of other intergalactic villains, and Brainiac seems to be the next natural step in the franchise.

This is the film I'm the most excited to see. No doubt Iron Man 3 will be good but it's been promoted so much that I'm not as excited as I was last year. Mystery= Curiosity = Excitement

Generals don't introduce themselves in the fashion of "My name is (First Name) General, (Last Name) Zod" what is that? You say "I am General Zod!" or "I am Zod, General of the Blah blah blah." . . . This feels like an after thought not something well planned to heighten the experience.

Hopefully both Zack and Scott Snyder can make Superman awesome again. On the screen and on the pages.
