Valiant Teases The (Original) World's Worst Superhero Team

We'll have to wait until later this week for more information.

If you've been reading QUANTUM and WOODY, you know they're referred to as the World's Worst Superhero Team. But a new teaser just released by Valiant makes you wonder what they're referring to.

With the addition of the word "original," we'll have to wait to see what this could possibly mean.

As you wait to find out more, this would be a good time to get caught up on QUANTUM AND WOODY if you haven't been reading it.

Maybe it's a flashback arc about Derek Henderson?

My guess is an omnibus collecting the original Priest/Bright Quantum & Woody series.

I wish I read pre-relaunch Valiant so I'd have an idea on what this is about.

Rather curious what this is, though not sure if it would be an omnibus of the original series (as that was produced by Acclaim and not Valiant, but who knows if they own the rights to publish the original). My interest is piqued though.

They're bringing together Rob Liefeld and Greg Land for a book?

"The world's greatest comic book company presents..."

So they're teaming up with DC?

I will read anything new from Valiant. Almost all the titles I have tried out from them turned out great!

Valiant was bought by the video-game company Acclaim, who then started printing their titles under that name. Acclaim went out of business awhile ago, and the current Valiant company purchased the rights to that entire catalog of Valiant/Acclaim titles regardless of who the publisher was when a series was first printed. Expect I guess for Turok and Dr. Solaris, who's rights were bought out separately by Dark Horse I believe. Valiant already sell the original Quantum and Woody issues digitally I believe.

@rulerofthisuniverse: DC would wish they were so lucky. :)

^This. Valiant is the best right now.

And Quantum & Woody has been superb. Love it.

Another black background teaser? What's with these things this year. Still, at least it's more than one name or one word.
