I think it's just like his "old" voice, if you took away the accent.

As far as I am aware Rocket Raccoon was never represented as having a British accent until a couple of years ago in a single video game and a single cartoon show. I certainly never thought of Rocket as British, and honestly, I'd be a bit underwhelmed if he had been. There is not a lot of dialogue here, so it's too early to really say for sure, but I was hoping Cooper would add a little more spice to the voice than I heard there.

I don't think recent RR has had any accent really, as far as I know. But I don't think it's something big to get hung up over, is it a quirk that made him a little more interesting than what he already is? Sure, but it's not a game changer for me for Rocket. I mean he didn't have an accent in Ultimate Spider Man either, but he was still awesome.

I never got a chance to read his earlier stories, I was introduced to him through Abnet and Lanning, but it seems like they have certainly dropped the British vernacular in the comics leaving no hints at it.

Yep, I have a feeling Vin will just do fine as Groot, course we didn't hear from Groot but Vin's voice seems to fit nicely.

@nappystr8: I never read Rocket as British, but he does actually have a cockney accent in Lego Marvel Super Heroes. But I'm cool with the voice we've got.

You don't always have to write his accent to know that he's got one, for instance Wolfbane isn't always written with a Scottish accent but she still has it.

Can everyone relax listen to the clip more closely? Rocket Raccoon does have his British accent, it is the line he says makes it sound a little faint.

I really hope your post is sarcastic... because everything I wrote were legitimate complaints I've read in the past, mainly when I hung around imdb, before CV. I don't complain anymore. I judge films after I see them.

If anyone wants to complain about Jonah Hex with me, I'll be right here.

BTW... that's a real complaint I made before XMFC came out. Since then, I no longer complain without seeing the movie.
