@TenEyedMen: This isn't shameless pandering to "movie crowds". You have to remember that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has taken STRONG direction from Marvel's 1610 universe (aka the Ultimate Universe). It was in Ultimate comics (not the MCU) that we first see Hawkeye as a convicted murderer with a very shady past who's not quite as cocky and semi-sarcastic as the 616 Hawkeye. It's ALSO in Ultimate comics that we first see Hawkeye sporting the red shades with a simple red and black costume. It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that a show called ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN which regularly and primarily uses 1610 designs and origins for it's characters would use the Ultimate version of Hawkeye.

Seriously guys. That clip is less than a minute long. In it, we see Hawkeye being constantly sarcastic, cocky, and basically on point for the ultimate version of the character. That my spiel. If you hate the show already, you'll probably hate this too, but if you're a fan or just open minded I really think this episode deserves a shot.

How can Ultimate Spider-Man use characters like Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Wolverine, but the Avengers movies cannot use Spider-Man? Or Wolverine? I get that the rights are owned by different studios, but does that mean only the movie rights?

Also, why does Hawkeye sound like a boring stiff? Troy Baker is a pretty good voice actor, but he didn't sound good in this.

They need to lose the glasses with Hawkeye... He would look so much better without them, like in his own series. Or revert back to his old costume which was awesome.

While I like that they are using the Ultimate look, I would rather they give him the purple arrow version (New Ultimates). I can just see Young Justice fans calling him a ripoff of Red Arrow, and now is the time to distinguish them
