All signs are pointing to Aquaman having a cameo in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and getting a bigger role in Justice League, but it looks like Warner Bros has even bigger plans for the classic character! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Will Beall and Kurt Johnstad have been hired to create their own scripts for an Aquaman movie. Beall's credits include Gangster Squad and Castle, and Johnstad's credits include both 300 movies and Act of Valor.
As for which actor will bring Arthur Curry to life, many reports are claiming Jason Momoa landed the role months ago, but the studio has yet to confirm the casting. If you somehow missed it, Zack Snyder also called a radio station to say why he thinks Aquaman is no joke and a seriously powerful character. Seems safe to assume the character will at least be formidable in the cinematic universe! So, it's looking like we may have the opportunity to say "a ticket to Aquaman, please" within the next few years or so. Pretty cool, huh? Anyway, let us know what you want to see in an Aquaman movie in the comments below.
