still going to play the game before watching , if there is no game tie-in i'll wait till netflix

I'm not feeling it. Maybe it'll be a rental.

That looked terrible. I was actually pretty excited for this....Man of Steel was a letdown, Iron Man 3 was fun but overhyped....I was hoping for this to be the sleeper hit of the summer. Not feeling it from that clip though.

Nice!

The action was always going to be great in this film it's the story that needs to bring it's A Game

I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe this movie will be bad I'm just not really impressed with anything I've seen. So far its looking like its going to be just a middle of the road movie, not terrible, not great, just there.

This was an improvement from the crap fighting that happened in Origins: Wolverine.

That looked bad, like really bad.

DAMN! That was intense! The Wolverine looks like it can surprise everyone! #TheWolverine

I still think if Liev Schreiber had a better script to work with he would have been an awesome Sabertooth, as it stands he was really the only character in the movie that was actually worth watching.

@joshmightbe:

True. He and Hugh Jackman were the only interesting things in Origins.

Oh I agree with you 100%. He was the only tolerable thing in Origins.

Eh, it wasn't bad, yet it didn't get me excited about the movie at all.

Posted by joshmightbe

@thegreyoutcastx: I know its not gonna happen but I'd love to see him in a solo Sabertooth movie with a decent script and a better director.

That cut between:18-19 was REALLY BAD like just bad editing bad. I'm reading the Japan story for the first time and its ok seems like they are keeping the spirit of the source which is all what an adaptation can do.

But seriously why is Madame Hydra in this movie?!?!?!?! Why isn't she in Cap 2? Is she like a character who was turned into a mutant post apperance 1 or somethin

Posted by AllStarSuperman

Meh, still will like it more than Thor

I heard that movie was outright terrible.

@mynamewasdeleted: I refuse to support white people playing Native Americans in the 21st century, if being Native American wasn't integral to the character then I'd be okay with it but since that was the whole point of Tonto's existence what Johnny Depp did was no better than Black face.

You are entitled to your stance but he has Native American ancestry so does that make you feel any better?

It was not, it was a fun energetic romp.. granted it took maybe 15 minutes to get rolling - but the end spanks the end of Man of Steel. Saw them both back to back- well had a meal in between- and I have to say I enjoyed Lone Ranger more.

I watched all the wolverines so far and I'm not getting fooled again. I'm not watching!

Posted by joshmightbe

@mynamewasdeleted: I'm sure people said the minstrel shows from the 20s were a fun energetic romp. I hate the fact that if a white person paints up his face and plays a black guy or an asian then the whole world screams racism but if a white guy plays an indian oh that's just fine. Hell people even freaked out when a black guy wanted to audition for Spider-Man.

Edited by joshmightbe

@mynamewasdeleted: Also a few genealogists have debunked his claims of Native American heritage.

Loved it!! Wow, some of you guys are hard to please, eh? Whatever. Gonna see this in theater! :)

And sadly all I keep hearding is bad things.

Cool, this looks much better than that awful superman movie.

Posted by MyNameWasDeleted

@joshmightbe: you are just being willingly ignorant... did you not even read what I wrote? You're just spittin for spite- get over it he's claimed Native ancestry AND if you cared to do a little looking around on it (since you feel so strongly on this issue), he was recently adopted into the Comanche Nation in a traditional ceremony~ making him an honorary member of the tribe.

You can try the Marty McFly approach, but you will be sadly disappointed. lol

No, cause I was uninterested when I heard it announced and then saw the trailer which didn't change my mind.

Posted by joshmightbe

@mynamewasdeleted: He claimed that his Grand Mother might be Native American and he couldn't even specifically name her tribe, just that she might have been Cherokee. There has been no back ups for his claims.

Posted by joshmightbe

@mynamewasdeleted: So you're saying if a group of black people dubbed Tom Arnold as an honorary black man that'd make it just fine and dandy to paint up his face and play a black man in a movie?

Oh my god. This looks as bad as Ghost Rider.

Edited by BradyDale

This looks terrible.

I'm confused. Do physics not work in this universe? How is Wolvie able to jump in the air and then fly backwards relative to the train? He's already moving at the same speed as the train.

And what's the force threatening to pull them off? Air flow? I get that it must be a bullet train, but I don't think it would be this severe.

Yes, I will go see it on opening day but this does not make it look better. It looks way worse.

Posted by medulaoblaganda

@bradydale: because wolverine is a super human. he has super reflexes. wolverine is a mutant remember? wolverine is freaking fast. and how does it look way worse? explain

Posted by Super_SoldierXII

Wow. Folks touting how terrible this looks are just plain weird.

Looks "terrible"?? Really? Damn.

Sign of our times. The modern adolescent's senses are so overloaded with CGI that what amounts to a fairly cool fight scene is now yawn inducing to today's over stimulated minds.

Soon, we're going to have to have orgasm inducing, mind blowing, nose bleeding, roller coaster flying seats and fully interactive visuals just to get a 'blip' from the graphic hungry minds of tomorrow.

Sigh.

Fight scene was pretty damn cool ... and well done IMHO.

Posted by joshmightbe

@bradydale: Actually if it's a bullet train the two human dudes wouldn't have been able to stay up there, even if they kept a grip on their swords their arms would have been ripped out of socket.

Marvel films for this year!

"Quantity over Quality"

Posted by 34g3f3ert3t43

Not so bad! Unrealistic, yes. But the movie is based on a character who is not real, so... Was not a HUGE fan of origins, but this looks like a decently fun ride! I will go in with the mindset I had during Transformers... ;) PLEASE DON'T SUCK.

Posted by sentryman555

Probably won't go to see this opening day but I think people are being a bit harsh on this movie. That fight scene was pretty cool. And it can't be worse than Origins! It just can't.......
