'Toy Story 3' Official Trailer!

Woody and Buzz are returning to the big screen!

Woody and Buzz are returning to the big screen!

There comes a time in every toy's life when a child eventually grows up, so what happens to the toys? If the success of the first two Toy Story movies was an indication of being a formula for what works, then no question that the third film will be just as good. After releasing their teaser trailer back at the start of June, it was only a matter of time until the official trailer would be released by Disney and Pixar. Who knew it would come so soon? Early this morning Pixar debuted the trailer for their Toy Story 3 movie on Yahoo and the official version went up on Trailer Addict. What we get is a new film with a returning cast (Tom Hanks as ' Woody,' Tim Allen as ' Buzz Lightyear') which is certainly good to hear. The plot is centered around the bitter-sweetness of growing up, and what happens to toys when their owners go off to college. If there was to be another film, then it makes sense that  this would be it. The film is directed by Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo) and the screenplay was written by Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine). The film will be released on June 18th, 2010 in 3D.

Are you looking forward to another Toy Story movie? If you simply can not get enough Toy Story, be sure to  check out the fantastic comic book series released by Boom! Studios written by Dan Jolley. If you are unsure about the issue, check out G-Man's review!

This is going to make me feel bad for when I got rid of my toys at 11 lol.

I've never been to see a Toy Story at the cinema before, I could make an exception for this one though. I like the direction they're taking it in.

This is my favorite movie of all time!  I still have a Buzz Lightyear of Star Command in my basement as well as Woody and Rex XD

That hits the nostalgia chords pretty hard.

Putting Andy in college was a little bit too much of a stretch. But still...

Posted by vicsrealms

I absolutely loved those movies.  Hope this can live up to the first two.  Especially since Pixar seems to be the only Disney studio that is actually making really good movies...if you ignore Nemo and Cars.

lol, Buzz the Latino

I have enjoyed the previous two films, and I will probably enjoy this one if I ever end up seeing it. But learning of its existence doesn't excite me. The other day I learned of Lars von Trier's new project (scif-fi!!!) and that made me giddy.
I have no problem with aging except I fear for my inner child. Thank god for Miyazaki! He can still  truly amaze me.

I agree! So Andy goes off to college and the toys seemingly get abandoned. Not exactly a charming heart warming tale from the sounds of it. But it will be cool to see Toy Story again! My son really loves Buzz now...

El Buzzo Lightyearo!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!

It's kind of cool, I saw the first two and now I'm almost 18 and ol' Andy is going to college too!  It's like I grew up with Toy Story.

This looks amazingly good!

This is my first time seeing this trailer. I was curious what they were going to do with this film after Jim Varney died. Not that he was a huge role in the series, but sounds like they just hired a sound a like. Not sure how I feel about that. They had to do it for Atlantis: The Lost Empire, but that was only for a few short lines since he passed during the recording.

Is Toy Story a comic book?

Posted by Ferro Vida

Wow... The first Toy Story was literally the first movie I saw in theatres. Ever. This is my last year of High School, so next year I'm going off to University. I know it probably doesn't matter to anyone on here, but this is a really big deal for me. Part of me is really looking forward to this. The other part doesn't want to grow up...

In what way is putting a normal grown up teenager in college a strech?

Boom Studios put out 4 issues recently. They are pretty good, more for kids though.  Not sure if they are going to do more with the Toy Story storyline.

When I had heard the premise of the story, the only thing I could think was "MAN, ANDY IS A DOUCHE" solely because...well...WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would give up Woody and Buzz?!  That's going to be a heartbreaking moment in the movie, man!  I'm gonna cry like a little sissy, I know it!!!

Now that I've seen the trailer...and seen that look in Andy's eye, I don't think he's a douche.  Now...I just REALLY REALLY REALLY need to see this movie!!!

I still can not believe it has been almost 15 years since the first movie!!!

I am pleased they went with the storyline i though they would, it will be fun and at the same time a little emotional!

Well, I think they took it too far by putting him in college. Maybe Highschool would've suited it better.

Why is everything in 3d now a days? the first two were fine the way they were... Anyway big Fan here, I'm sooooooooo ganna watch it XD

It's true. I just realized it was Tuesday, and that's "hump day" for me.(Wednesdays for most people, but I'm on a whole weird Sun-Thurs work schedule.)

I love my Pixar films... except for Cars.
