Torchwood: Children Of Earth Trailer

BBC America prepares to air more Torchwood.

There's been some Doctor Who news lately so how about some Torchwood news as well.  Even though it's a spin-off of Doctor Who, it does have a different feel to it.  "Children Of Earth" is set to premiere on BBC America in July.  It's nice that both Torchwood and Doctor Who are now both on the same channel.  I didn't mind Doctor Who being on Sci-Fi but it felt a little weird when Torchwood started on a different one.

Here's the trailer for "Children Of Earth."  For those that have seen it overseas, how was it?  Looks pretty creepy and cool.  I'm still a little behind on the show (thankfully they're on my DVR).

I love this show... I heard that this season will only be like 6 episodes though... Makes me sad since this is essentially Doctor Who for adults.

It hasn't been broadcast yet, G-Man.  Looks like it'll be one of those rare occasions where you get it either very soon after or at the same time as us.

I never see Dr who but I have heard of it but as for this show i never heard  of it. but the clips of this makes me wanna watch all  of it I think i am going to be a fan of both.

I'm sure Children of Earth will be good... but will it be The Empty Child/Doctor Dances good??  That double-parter was F-ing brilliant!

 I read on Wiki (ya, I know it's not 100% reliable) that the aliens are called the 456.  Reminded me of the 198 :p

"Torchwood" rules!  Usually, I tend to prefer it over "Doctor Who", just cause of the more adult themes.

Yay! I've totally been missing "Torchwood".  Finally I can get my Captain Jack fix.  (Even if it's just for a five-episode mini-series for one week in June.)

@.Mistress Redhead.: 5 part series, spread over 5 nights... or something like that.  Someone please correct me if I'm wrong :)  It's classed as a series in it's own right, but it seems that to make up for the fact that it'll be a very short series, they're making one epic sized adventure instead :)

Did anyone else watch the first episode?  I've never been a fan of Torchwood, but I thought this was a huge turn around... for the better.
