ThunderCats Episode 7: "Legacy" Clips and Images

Can Lion-O unlock the secrets of the Book of Omens?

This Friday, September 2, 2011, Cartoon Network will premiere another all-new episode of ThunderCats at 8:30/7:30 C. As the Cats continue to try to figure out where they are going and how to deal with Mumm-Ra, they are closer to getting more answers.

The seventh episode, "Legacy," has Lion-O journeying into the Book of Omens to live out his ancestor's past as Leo, who led the rebellion against Mumm-Ra millenia ago. The origin of the stones and the Cats' relationship to Mumm-Ra and the other animals is finally revealed.

okay, I've just now gotten caught up (I know, I'm slow) but this was a stellar episode. Spoiler alert.....Monstarr (from Silverhawks) and Tigershark (from Tigersharks) cameos. Very happy. Super excited about possible future Silverhawks tie-ins! Love this show.

I really love this show but a part of me misses Mumm-Ra's voice from the original show. It was so much more decrepit-sounding and evil!

amen. They have all the catch phrases and everything i ever liked about the old cartoon. they've left it all there, except this Snarf can't talk. But he does WARN Lion-O of danger. The only problem i have is,..Tygra is supposed to be the most noble, but Lion-O, although the underdog, has more MORALS than Tygra, which was supposed to go the other way around. (But this IS cartoon network, and they want to create the illusion for kids that even when you are not the strongest younger people are allowed to be leaders. (which of course IS true but no real kid could be a Lion-O))

Okay I truly and honestly believe that this is the BEST reimagining of a classic franchise ever. The story is amazing, the action is greta, the characters are fun, and the art is cool. I can't wait for the revelations in this episode. Tigersharks as the aquatic life forms, and Avian creatures as possibly this shows version of Silverhawks (I'm hping the actual "SilverHawks" are an elite squad of those avian creatures), and MonStar? How can this get any cooler?  
 
So here's my prediction of what happened: Mumm-ra actually enslaved sevceral races of animal like humanoids. The Cats rose to promincence and became his trusted army of generals and elite soldiers, with everyone else becoming cannon fodder basically. The Cats finally rise up against Mumm-ra and imprison him on Third Earth. The animals war against each other with most of them spreading out across the planet trying to make out some sort of existance away from the Cats rule which, not as despotic as Mumm-ra, has nonetheless become somewhat despotic. After thousands of years we get to the present. Just a guess though.

Oh man, I am LOVING this show! I'm glad they're sticking with the overarching plot right now than the single adventures we saw in the beginning, those adventures will be better once the cats learn how to work together and Lion-O gains back his confidence. Also, I was wondering how they were going to handle the Jaga/Lion-O interactions once Jaga became a spirit, and this clip certainly answers that!

This clip should drive a lot of old timers and Thundercats fans crazy. 
 
SilverHawks and TigerSharks will be part of the new ThunderCats universe! The clip clearly shows SilverHawks nemesis Mon*Star and TigerSharks hero Mako.

This is getting annoying up here in Canada. I have to look up episodes of Young Justice on youtube to see what its about as not only that show but this one as well have not even started airing yet. Its frustrating since I would like to see them on T.V. and give them the ratings they deserve to continue.

No, the summery says hes Lion-O ancestor. They even have the same voice actor and sound alike.

Yeah I thought it was wired too, but it turns out he's  Leo (Lion-O  ancestor, but with longer hair).
