Can't wait for Batman Inc.

F**k you Grant Morrison. Your writing sucks. You're just as bad as Rob Liefield and Tom Defalco. DC is just as dumb for spoiling it with a stupid pop up. I have no interest in reading Batman Inc. Its concept is retarded and now it ruins Batman and Robin.

Okay, a little over the top, but I feel kind of the same way. Except for the fact that Grant Morrison has written great stuff in the past, but the current state of his writing is just really sad. Batman Inc has been better than his Action Comics run, but its still nothing to write home about. At least for me it isn't. I don't know why its on this list, though, especially when there's so many better titles at DC right now, especially of the titles coming out this week. Aquaman, The Flash, I, Vampire, and JLD are all coming out this week.

So Excited for Hawkeye !

also looking forward to the Deadpool Killstration, I enjoyed the first issue alot.

Exited for Guardians of the Galaxy 0.1 but man those new costumes suck

I also don't like Batman Inc's art. I can get over what happens. But the fact that it doesn't happen in Batman and Robin really pisses me off.

I'm super pissed about the spoiling of Batman Inc #8. I was trying to avoid it and it pop up somewhere I wasn't expecting it to. They seriously couldn't wait till Wednesday to spoil it?!

Big week for me. Aquaman, Batman Inc., FF, Hawkeye, I,Vampire, Justice League Dark, Punisher: War Zone, Talon, Witch Doctor, Young Avengers. I've managed to avoid spoilers for Batman Inc #8. With all the media coverage I can make some assumptions though.

God, I hate when comic companies release spoilers before the issue is released. Imagine if movie companies or TV studios did that...

totally agree, Morrison is just using the death of Damian to make his horrible and completely (lack of a better word) retarded idea of Batman Inc to end in a epic finale but killing a character just for shock value is lame and shows poor writing skills, and lack of creativity. (like how he killed Batman) Lazy

@Dark_Guyver: Morrison's done at issue #12. It's unclear if the series will stop or continue on after he leaves.

It would appear that it has become the new "cool" thing to hate Grant Morrison. Everyone is entitled to their opinion obviously but I think he has done quite a lot of exceptional work in his career. He is not my favorite because at times his stories get convoluted and borderline nonsensical but the hatred being spewed on the internet today is a little much.

It improved dramatically when Tomasi took over. Action comics is terrible. It's unreadable. Batman INC is just as weird with the dumbest concept I've ever seen.

I'm kind of hoping that Clint gets his butt kicked in this week's Hawkeye. He's a bit of a douche for being a serial cheater. On my list for the week: Batman Inc., FF, The Flash, Hawkeye, and Young Avengers.

Batman INC is such a dumb concept with bruce publicly admitting he bank rolls Batman he mine as well just come and say i am Batman these young men behind me were all ROBINS...SO DUMB and out of character plus all the references to the 50s comics which last time i checked those stories are no longer from this earths timeline so they dont make sense either, also the supporting cast are so lame and the art is just horrible so i am ready for it to end and hopefully its a clone of Damian that dies or something, he better be back soon bc i enjoy and subscribe to Batman and Robin.

Can someone explain to me the relationship between Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy? Are they both ongoing, or what?

Also, I understand people being upset over characters getting killed (I mean, this is me talking here), but isn't it a little silly to call Morrison a hack when he created the character he's killing? If you're upset with Damian dying, that means Morrison created something you love...so you don't actually believe he's complete crap. Just saying.

Took me a few days to finish the stack... Only looking at 4 or 5 books this week.

Just heard about Batman Inc...ouch...

With the possible exception of Hawkeye (I like it so far but I deal with Marvel on an issue by issue basis these days)and possibly Uncanny X-Men ( issue 1 was great and this week it's not even on this list)there is nothing here that warrants an Essential Reading designation.This is the big 2's standard formula Bantha fodder.Where is the rest of the industry?

@akbogert: Well both titles feature cosmic characters, and the Guardians might show up more in Nova down the road but I don't think the two titles or intertwined or anything. I think both are supposed to foreshadow what's coming up in the Infinity event Hickman is writing, as is his Avengers and New Avengers.

@spinningbirdcake: Maybe the Infinity event is it, then. I mean, Gamora and Raccoon actually showed up in the very first issue of Nova, so at least for now there's a definite connection.

@akbogert: Yeah and Nova might pop up in GOtG eventually. I know they are showing up in All New X-Men eventually to ask about Jean and the Phoenix, which makes some sense as Bendis is writing both titles. So it's not like they will be separated from the non cosmic characters, as is often the case with cosmic characters.

@akbogert: i'm upset because hes doing it so nonchalantly. Why not let it be done in DOTF? That wouldve been something with more impact. Batman Inc is barely if at all in continuity so killing him in that series makes little to no sense other than to boost sales for his departure. I get it, money is the root but theyre forgeting that WE who buy their comics are the audience that will be alienated when they do this pointless cash-grab crap and Morrisson is the worst of all of the cash-grabbers. C'mon.....isnt it a dick move to know youre thumbing your nose to the fans and then to say "So yeh i'm done with super hero books now, SUCKERS!!!!" ? I think it is........

I actually already have GotG on my pull list, but I think I'm gonna skip the point 1. From the preview pages alone, I can pretty much guess how the entire issue will play out. Plus, why is it 4 dollars? Isn't part of the reason for Point 1 issues that they're always 3 dollars, even for a 4 dollar series?
