The Villains Of Batman: Arkham Asylum

Another day, another Arkham Aslyum trailer.

I did see this one posted yesterday but this is (obviously) better quality.  Check it out and meet the villains of Batman: Arkham Asylum.  Who are you looking forward to facing off against?  Who are you not looking forward to seeing? 

 

What are your thoughts on this?  Do you still think it looks promising?  Do you think the gameplay will be challenging?

Looks epic! Finally a fantastic Batman video game! I am hoping to see Two-Face and Scarecrow. Don't really care for seeing Mr.Freeze and the Ventriloquist. The trailer looks awesome and is filled with heart pounding action! Who do you think is the coolest in the trailer.

From the little snippets of Joker dialogue we're heard so far, the story sounds incredible. Joker has been done so well in this game and so has everyone else. Hell, I'm pumped to fight Killer Croc and I don't even know who he is XD

These guys know how to make a trailer... Every Batman trailer so far has been pretty incredible.

The way I see the gameplay working is like this: the combat will be easy. If anyone's played Assassin's Creed, that's what I mean by easy combat. However, the fact that these thugs have guns means you really need to think about what you're doing, because Batman can only take a few gunshots (while Altair could fall hundreds of feet and still have half a bar of health) so you can't just run in there and beat guys up. This game really has to deliver on the planning aspect, especially with the bosses we've been shown. Bane, Killer Croc and Poison Ivy can't be taken down by punches to the face, you'll have to figure out a strategy, use the environment and sometimes plan ahead. Just like the Batman himself.

Against random thugs, simple as hell. Against bosses... A little more tricky :)

Super hyped for this game. I love superhero games and just hope this game includes free roaming.

Everything looks spot on, the only thing that might put it down is the gameplay, but I heard good things about that as well soo I'm still excited for this!!!!!!!

I'm so pumped up for this game...but I'm let down that Bane's such a huge part of it. I've never liked him. Stupid Mexican wrestler rip-off. I'm really hoping for some more major rogues like Two-face, Riddler, Scarecrow, and Freeze.

On a more serious note, I'd love to see Two face :)

Im looking forward to fighting Baine tho, didn't he cripple bats once? Im not the biggest DC fan but Im defo getting this

Firefly is in this. Disappointed we didn't see any of him, since he's my fav.

Also Hush is supposedly going to be as well. Didn't see him either.

Same here my friend , especially bringing back Arleen Sorkin and even Ivy sounds similar to Diane Pershing's voice. I'm hoping they'll have more of the Rogues Gallery like Mr.Freeze & Two-Face and they're just keeping it a secret till you play the game.

For me besides Joke I'm looking forward to going up against Bane & Killer Croc.

Great cut-scenes, but I wish they would show more game play it would help me decide if I will purchase it or not. I wouldn't mind playing a Batman RPG I think it could work.

Not all of the villains have been revealed yet. Hold out hope, dude :)

Great trailer, my favourite one yet. The voice cast is great, and man, that Croc part looks intense, like a scene out of Resident Evil where you just have to run. Oooh, maybe Croc is going to be like the Nemesis from RE3! And he follows and hunts you around for a fair amount of the game until you have to face him. That'd be damn awesome.

It looks great.  I loved how steath played out in the Batman Begins game, and after playing the free form fighting in Matrix Path of Neo always wondered why the didn't apply that approach to the fighting style of the game..  Now they did.  Should be fun. I also watched the gameplay demo Youtube and it looks great there.

The game looks dope cant wait to get the special edition andstart throwin my batarang at dudes its a wrap.The game does look promising on some metal gear slash god of war in the sence that you caneither sneak around and pick dudes off 1 by 1 or jus go in on dudes and beat up everyone at the same time with crazy combos...Proly gon be the best super hero game for the next gen consoles...nuff said!
