Drax and Ronan have quite the history, which is mentioned in the Guardians of the Galaxy film, but never shown. In the upcoming animated series Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, fans get all their favorite GotG characters in brand new adventures.
And on Marvel's YouTube page, to prepare everyone for the September premiere of the show, they released a couple of videos featuring the origin of Drax and his connection to Ronan. Check them out for yourself and watch Drax do some destroying.
