The Muppet Show, which aired from 1976-1981, introduced the world to a lovable group of characters who put on a weekly variety show, full of laughs and corny jokes from Fozzy. Now, The Muppets are returning to television, this fall, on ABC and it's unlike anything these characters have done before.
The show is going the route of many comedic shows, like the Office, with their filming style, but what's different here is that we're getting to see the day-to-day like of these characters, which has never really been explored. The show still has that same sense of humor and the cast of characters is large. Everyone from Kermit to the Swedish Chef is here.
The Muppets will debut this fall on ABC on Tuesday nights.
