The New Looney Tunes Show—"Monster Talent" Clips

Did you know there's a new Looney Tunes show on?

Everyone loves Looney Tunes, right? How can you not like those classic cartoons? I'm sure there are some out there and maybe even some that have 'out grown' them. I still dig them. Being a father, I have a built in excuse to watch the classics once again.

What you might not be aware of is a new The Looney Tunes Show airing on Cartoon Network. You can catch the next all-new episode Tuesday, May 31, at 8:00 pm ET/PT. In "Monster Talent," Witch Hazel enlists Daffy as an unlikely mentor for her son Gossamer (the big walking pile of orange hair). Because Gossamer has such a kind nature, he's been the target for the schoolyard bullies. After some failed experiments to boost Gossamer's social status, Daffy decides the school talent show is the perfect path to popularity.

There have been updated versions over the years. Some have been okay and a couple...I'd rather not think about. This new version has been on for a few weeks and I have to say, I do approve. Instead of trying to capture the original 'shorts' feel, we actually get semi-full length episodes. They are broken up with a little short/song in the middle but this longer story-telling format has been working.

Daffy and Gossamer isn't the only thing happening in this episode. There is more.

Bugs becomes an unlikely celebrity after appearing in a television commerical for Speedy Gonzales' restaurant, Pizzariba. His catchphrase takes the town by storm. How will Bugs' stardom affect Gossamer's problems?

Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner will return in 'cinematic-quality CG animation' with the short, "A Zipline in the Sand." You can count on the classic slapstick comedy and Acme products.

Have you been watching the show? Do you have plan to now?
