i thought i missed something as to why superman was wearing a mask, glad i didn't. this book is moving very slow, some people think it is because it is a weekly but batman eternal is a weekly and it has a very nice pace.

Maybe he is a new version of blue superman!

Maybe since Billy is getting older, he looks more like Captain Marvel in his civilian identity, so he felt the need to start wearing a mask. That's my only guess, other than that a lot can happen to change somebody in five years.

Strange, i saw this facility, but not him. %) I need to relook this issue.

But it's in the future, Billy would have aged by now.

He does sound younger the way he speaks

But why Shazam would ever need a mask...?

And their are remarks of MaskedSup that are not in character of Shazam. I have suspitions more about Val-Zod... Or Captain Atom, that can explain mask and suit.

It's good. Lots of great, obscure characters and concepts.

It's just a little slow moving, but you have to remember that it's a weekly series, so pacing is going to be different; and there's a lot being set up.

That's actually a great deduction. Wouldn't be mad if that were the case though I'm also somewhat hoping it's Earth 2 Superman.

I've been reading Batman Eternal, and sadly, I can't afford two weekly titles, if this was a monthly, I'd be all over it, but for now, I gotta pass it up.

This series any good? Heard some bad things about it.

@squalleon: It's why he wears the mask. He knew his hair (or lack thereof) could never match up to Clark's.

Unless they're continuing to play up the Lex Luthor/Shazam connection from Forever Evil, and Lex is the future Superman via Shazam powers. PLOT TWIST.

Didn't know about that. Oh Sook should be more careful, he has ruined the surprise :(, or is it all an elaborate trap to throw us of guard :P

When do the full solicits come out?

That's starting to make sense why Black Adam was in the Phantom Zone.

Shazam? Thats what the lightning indicates. Nice twist if it is true.
