I supposes it was inevitable. It appears the Jetsons are getting their own live action movie. Now before you start having bad flashbacks to the live action Flintstones movies (I admit I've never watched them), things may not be as bad as you'd think. Who is involved in the making of this movie?

The future's starting to look pretty good now. Rodriguez has recently told MTV that his long rumored project is going to happen. The question is how is he going to pull it off. I'm not just talking about making it happen and making it look good. Rodriguez is a pretty busy guy. We've heard about his Predator reboot. Sin City 2 is supposed to happen sometime. He is going to work on a spin-off for Grindhouse called Machette. MTV also mentioned a "sci-fi thriller" Neverackers. And of course I'm still waiting for the live action Madman movie that he and Mike Allred have been toying around with forever.
Rodriguez said he's hoping to start shooting The Jetsons next year. Adam F. Goldberg (Fanboys) wrote an early script but it seems it's been rewritten now.
Who could possibley play George Jetson? Will his hair be orange? Is Rosie going to be updated? Would they even think of having the movie without the theme song?
