The Invincibly Super Massive Comic Book Podcast of Stuff: Episode 11

Ryan Stegman takes a brief break from drawing SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN to join the podcast.

Get ready for another episode of The Invincibly Super Massive Comic Book Podcast of Stuff. There's been a lot of talk about Spider-Man lately. His page has been more popular than Batman's lately. With the news of a different sort of Spider-Man since Doctor Octopus revealed his plans back in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #698, people have been angry and excited. Some have sworn to give up reading Spider-Man comics and others that were against the idea have reconsidered after reading the first issue.

Dan Slott has been talking a bit about it but now is the time to hear what the man drawing these wacky adventures has to say.

Ryan Stegman caught the attention of many when penciling SCARLET SPIDER. He then started inking himself and he made the jump to Jonathan Hickman's final issues of FANTASTIC FOUR.

Ryan was able to stick around for a little to answer some of your questions as well.

You can ask questions on the "Ask G-Man' thread or you can at reply me on Twitter: @GManFromHeck using #AskGMan.

Yeah buddy! I met Ryan Stegman at NYCC last year. He is a really nice guy. Super psyched to listen to this podcast.

G-Man, I love the podcast. Especially when it's a writer or artist involved in one of the books I'm reading. I think I'd like it more if the fan question segment was directed to the specific guest. I understand that there are times when it might not work out. But, when it does work out it would be fun for fans to have their questions answered. I think it would give the guest a better opportunity to be involved as well.

I was listening to the podcast and I got to the point where you talk about the AR. The AR does work with comixology, only that it doesn't show the AR logo on the page. For superior spider-man, for example, there are about three AR pages; however, you can't tell which ones they are unless you go through and scan each page or have the physical copy and check which page is AR compatible. I have no problem scanning each page (as i read) if it means not having the logo on the page. I prefer the logo not being there but for some that don't know I can see the confusion. And i have also noticed that the content is timed. So you can't access it before the comic is officially released. Hope that helps!

G-man mentioned about batman being a villain, but didn't mention the issue, here it is

It was a reversal of roles issue(s) where Catwoman played the role of the guardian of Gotham and Batman was the thief & murderer.

It is actually called Catwoman: Guardian of Gotham
