The Dark Judges Return to 2000 A.D.

'Day of Chaos' will continue to ravage Mega-City One.

Looks like there's more bad news for the citizens of Mega-City One. In the pages of 2000 AD, the city has already been reeling from the Chaos Bug epidemic which has resulted in mass revolt and terrorist attacks.

There has been a countdown for the return of the Dark Judges over at www.2000adonline.com but now the site has closed and has been replaced by a single image with "THEY ARE HERE."

What this means is Judge Dredd co-creator, John Wagner, is ready to unleash Judge Fear, Judge Fire and Judge Mortis onto Mega-City One.

The Dark Judges are warped parodies of the Judges of Mega-City One. Coming from a dimension where all life has been declared a crime, they were originally led by Judge Death, who was sucked into Purgatory by the souls of his victims.

This has become one of the most highly aniticpated 2000 AD event in years. Prog 1781 goes on sale on Wednesday, priced at £2.35 in the UK.

Henry Flint is a monster of an artist.

Seriously no comic is making me more excited to just pick it up than 2000AD at the moment.

That is awesome! And with them returned, the plot thickens for what will happen with the return of the Dark Judges. Great stuff!

Friday if you want to grab it digitally in DRM free PDF or CBZ form from http://shop.2000adonline.com/

I'm not sure what the back log for US copies is like at the moment, Diamond fails to get 2000AD to British stores each week, and I hear that Diamond is even worse in the US, which is why I grab my weekly Prog, and monthly Megazine from a newsagents instead.

As for who publishes it, 2000AD do. They are owned by Rebellion Developments who make Video Games but also own a bunch of British book publishers, and card and board game publishers.
