Tandem Initiative and M-Underground Viral Marketing Purposes Revealed

It's time to reveal what this has been all about and what it's been marketing. It's NOT for what many have incorrectly concluded.

Last week we posted some information and a link to a website, the Tandem Initiative, which appeared to be seeking gifted individuals and asking for them to share pics of them using their abilities (which you still can as part of their "sweepstakes"). Monday we mentioned another website for a group calling themselves M-Underground. They appeared to have obtained footage from Tandem focusing on the possibility or cover up of actual events possibly linked to those with super-powers. Yesterday M-Underground posted some "decrypted files" indicating Ted Kennedy could have been a mutant.

These posts have excited many and upset some. Doing some digging, it was easy to find out about the sweepstake and notice Fox's copyright and attachment to it. When word got out, many websites started speculating this was all a viral marketing plan for 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse.

That's not the case. This marketing is NOT for X-Men: Apocalypse.

What is it for?

It's for the home release of X-Men: Days of Future Past. Because of our involvement in sharing the sites with you, we've been ask by the marketing team and Fox if we could help clarify this for everyone speculating it's for the next X-Men movie.

Now that the mutated cat is out of the bag, there is still plenty of cool things coming along in the viral sites. We can just pretend a little longer that maybe there is something more to this in the real world.
