I have to admit that I was never a huge Street Fighter fan. I was more into Mortal Kombat and then later, Tekken. I did play the game a few times when I'd go to a movie and they had the game in the lobby. Then there was the movie with Jean-Claude Van Damme, Raul Julia and Kylie Minogue. I passed on that one.
If they're going to make a 'movie,' this is how it should be. UDON does a great job with the art. Why not use that style in an animated movie? As far as the next live-action movie, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li, I really don't know what to think about that one.
