Storm Joins the Avengers

I kinda like Emma Frost. And I love the tension between Emma and Storm. Also if Emma was truly whorish, she would of had Storm already.....

I know BP will also react strange but not violently. If he would know, he's not the guy who would destroy anything surrounding him like tables, chairs, etc. I don't think he would even scream or cry. He's like Batman who deals the situation differently, as if they're insensitive. But that's just what i think. As for Emma, I'm definitely sure she'll be devastated, she would cry and cry and throw stuff at Cyclops and prolly turn into a villain again.

Still i would say Thor uses more of his other powers in variety in his book,but in the Avengers they probably try to keep him down so he wont be oveprowerd to the rest of the team :)

Actually it was. I stopped collecting a few years back though, but it had good presentation of Storm....could definitely work if they write her that way in continuity.

i just remembered. I actually bought just one copy of marvel adventures. Only 1 because Storm is in it and i wanna know how the writers handled Storm as well as wanna check how she interacts with other avengers. I only bought one because i'm not really a fan of non-canon issues.

All of those were cool. And appearance-wise, she had a RIDICULOUSLY fierce look. It's like when Storm had the long mohawk with the feather earring. I'm such a fan of the long mohawk. It's so Tina Turner thunderdome, and increases her durability. If she really cut loose, she could easily give Storm a good run

See I love Storm obviously, but that scan and how easily she was taken down is why she need some type of defense. An electrical shield and air pressure dome, something. That was just ridiculous, how he took her down so easily.

She needs the "I" ability. Either that "I" stand for invulnerability or intangibility would be cool. : )

Yeah, I was hoping for something more epic between them but it's cool though. I don't think she saw it coming and she tends to be vulnerable to even electricity based attacks if she is not prepared for it. At least she was only stunned by it vs KO'd (that would have ticked me off a bit). I guess the writer didn't want to make War Machine look like a punk but getting taken down by lightning twice so he evened up the score.

Yea i guess thats a way of looking at it. But War Machine didn't seem really phased by her attacks both in the previous issue and this one to come. Also I hope she doesn't continue to resort to lightning bolts to take out her enemies. I'm trying to have an open mind I really am. So I will try to have a better outlook like you do, for now lol.. And I FULLY agree on that point. My understanding is that Gischler is a big Storm fan, so I hope he familiar enough with her powerset to know that she does a lot more than toss lightning bolts. I want t osee a return to the Claremazon Storm and not Fraction's Lightning Lass...-__-
