I would say this gives her and Wolverine something else in common as a bonding point but..Schism..looking forward to those awkward Avenger meetings.

This is cool, if any X-Man deserves this it's her.....think I'll just read this one, she'll have her introduction onto the team then disappear....;p

I can't get excited about Avengers cast reveals anymore. There has been zero payoff for all the new and shocking additions to either of the core Avengers books since their latest iteration started.

And I'm a huge Storm fan too, my favorite X-woman hands down.

I of course mean that in the sense that this forum is not in the news section of the page hence the differentiation on my part concerning this being a forum thread and not a news article as per comicvine categorizations. Storm hasn't really had any exposure at all recently so this is awesome news! It's about time Marvel treated her for what she is; one of their most famous/popular female characters.

THIS! Especially looking forward to how they deal with her current position (as 2nd in command) in Scott's team, plus that teaser for AXM coming out November... Can't help but wonder how they're going to manage make this all lead into her being part of the Avengers, on top of everything post-Schism.

So yes. Remaining very, very cautiously optimistic on this. I'm just glad that Storm is getting all these appearances in all these titles! Whether they manage to pull it off remains to be seen, but I think the exposure will be good for her. It's about time, really.

I'm really, really happy that Storm will be joining the Avengers. I never had a copy of Avengers comics but right now, I can definitely say I will have one and many more cos I'm gonna grab a copy of Avengers comics with Storm in it. : )
