LOL...I know. I just found some classic uncanny titles I was looking for and it took me almost double the time to read through it due to Claremonts LONG & FLUFFY narrations and explanations. But at this point, I am WILLING to take the pain of his endless wordiness if it means she will do more than toss lightning bolts.

Yeah :-(.....the last issue will be in February. And Marvel needs to do something with them. I think they went to great lengths to pull Storm and BP out of Wakanda and back into the x-word and MU as whole with BP's solo title, but now I think they have a prime opportunity to keep BP on a team (his solo titles always gets cancelled) with Storm where they can develop their relationship more and have some interactions. I found it so annoying when Marvel writers would state how these characters are perfect for each other and have such a well established relationship yet they only appear on panel together once a year -__-....

i wonder why bp always gets cancelled. i really wished they would have given both he and storm their on title, but the whole doomwar/shuri crap ruined that. do u think bp will go to the avengers from what i understand he wasnt going to join the team and yes appearing on panel together on a year a beyond ridiculous considering they r married

His sales just don't hold. And David Liss did a good job with T'Challa so it's disappointing. His sales have been pretty low for the last few months. They should have had this current story arc with Kingpin, Typhoid Mary and Lady Bullseye before the Fear Itself tie-in (which was good). This current story is even better than what I have seen when the title first started. Yes, I think he will join Avengers now. He told Capt. America that he wasn't in the right state of mind to join the team but since this AvX event will happen 3 - 4 months from now, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a sudden change of mind to be with his wife. I don't see him going back to Wakanda anytime soon.

I know people who buy comics don't care about the story of wakanda, but I really wish they would make him king again and create some more interesting story arcs surrounding his rule of his country, with storm as well. It just doesnt make sense to me why he would invest so much time in american affairs as a african government official.

I think what BP does is more of his personal stuff.

Ok that is good to hear (in regards to astonishing storm). It wouldn't take that much effort for writers to do this in other books, i wouldn't think. As you mentioned a side story, here and there, would be enough. But yes BP needs to get it together. For someone who doesn't care for outsider influences, he sure is always finding himself in American affairs lol .

I don't know if Storm will stay long in avengers especially that there's the X-Men vs Avengers which may start april of next year. But Storm will stay for as long as bendis is still writing Avengers. after that, I don't know if Storm stays in Avengers.

Indeed. Look at what she did again to Hercules and War machine. All she did was strike lightning or electric blast at them when she could blow hercules away with wind bursts and EMO war machine

I disagree about the "I" ability.Storm doesn't need that much of an upgrade,but she could sure a defensive upgrade. What writers need to do is focus more on her shielding. She should continue making more pressure domes, Jovian fields.Hell if Magneto can make EMP shield,then Storm should be able to too.Not as much as Magneto,but it woudl be nice for her to play around with her powers more, electromagnetism is in her powerset,just not as relevant or masterful as Eric's,but it could come in handy uses everynow and again Electric domes,pressure fields,morphing her body into elements she controls, much like Bobby becomes organic Ice and can reform damaged or decapitated body parts..I don't want another Rogue Storm ordeal,but along the lines of transcending her mortal from Though at the end of the day these are just ideas.Im still happy with how Storm is now and who she is.Just tossing out ideas.

I already lose hope that writers would do that because it was just done once by Storm and nobody from the writers cared about pressure dome anymore. I hope the writers will really be more creative is using Storm's powers.

Yeah, I was hoping for something more epic between them but it's cool though. I don't think she saw it coming and she tends to be vulnerable to even electricity based attacks if she is not prepared for it. At least she was only stunned by it vs KO'd (that would have ticked me off a bit). I guess the writer didn't want to make War Machine look like a punk but getting taken down by lightning twice so he evened up the score.

Also I hope she doesn't continue to resort to lightning bolts to take out her enemies. I'm trying to have an open mind I really am. So I will try to have a better outlook like you do, for now lol.. And I FULLY agree on that point. My understanding is that Gischler is a big Storm fan, so I hope he familiar enough with her powerset to know that she does a lot more than toss lightning bolts. I want t osee a return to the Claremazon Storm and not Fraction's Lightning Lass...-__-

See I love Storm obviously, but that scan and how easily she was taken down is why she need some type of defense. An electrical shield and air pressure dome, something. That was just ridiculous, how he took her down so easily.

She needs the "I" ability. Either that "I" stand for invulnerability or intangibility would be cool. : )

Yeah, I was hoping for something more epic between them but it's cool though. I don't think she saw it coming and she tends to be vulnerable to even electricity based attacks if she is not prepared for it. At least she was only stunned by it vs KO'd (that would have ticked me off a bit).
