sigh.....Agreed. I am not seeing what Marvel sees in Bendis's writing of this title so far, or why he may take over X-Men. Storm's run in this title has been an epic job-fest and disaster for the 3 pages she has shown up in 4 going on 5 issues -__-....

Story joins the avengers and they all get their butts kicked. Matter of fact Storm gets knocked out twice........

Erm, shouldn't Storm as Queen of Wakanda have one basic duty- waiting around to get pregnant and give her husband and Wakanda an heir?

@poisonfleur: Her looks are what irritates you? This whole situation shows how littles he knows about this character.

1. Storm is Claustrophobic so her in a bubble would not be so...calm.

2. Couldn't she easily blow up everything around her? She doesn't generate weather she manipulates it, so the lightning bolt thing was stupid.

3. Thanks for bringing all this up and list me as a refrence for other PO'd Storm fans

sigh I had such high hopes for this team. My three favorite characters Captain America, Hawkeye and Storm together for perhaps the only time :( and Bendis ruins it!

@Blood1991: I'm in agreement with you there. Storm is at her best when she's adamant and actively fighting for a cause. Holier than thou (for lack of a better term) Storm ticks me off and useless Storm is almost as bad.

@The Dark Huntress: My Storm love is pretty much lingering from great moments like the one I put up. The Storm Marvel has used in the last ten years is treally just a hollow shell of a great character.

@Blood1991: She was very good in the Birth of Generation Hope arc in Uncanny, but that was written by Gillen and he's pretty much amazing.

@The Dark Huntress: Agreed he really is and Storm is getting a much needed Gillen treatment in Uncanny X-Men :) and her own team is pretty good too, but her involvement in bigger Marvel affairs is all I AM A GODDESS WATCH ME GET MY ASS KICKED.

@The Dark Huntress: I think Val deserved that one, and it was well done so I was pleasantly suprised. I dunno the Avengers thing is just weird to me. Her joining must just be a side plot for something in Avengers vs X-Men. Which is going to be depressing for me, since Storm is an Avenger and Bendis is supposibly ending his run with it :(. My chance for ultimate nerdgasm was

@poisonfleur: I think my saddness surpasses all of you guys XD my trinity got their asses kicked and poor Storm and Hawkeye were treated terribly. I agree with the art being sucky in that panel especially since I usually like the style to some degree. I too judge the writers of my favs very hard ^^ but as of now any Roro is better than noo Roro because we were completly denied Storm for a LONG while. I mentioned the power thing too. Storm could easily do what Quake did. Oh and thanks I loved that old story though I wasn't even born when it was written lol

If you read this Bendis know we are not amused!

It's almost as if people have forgotten that Storm frequently appears in Uncanny X-Men and Security Recon, yet none of the events that transpire within those pages are talked about, only the crappy events that happen in this crappy book for this crappy team written by a crappy writer. Come on, be serious.

I'm still happy that at least she became an avenger. That's getting more chances of being included on an Avenger roster poster. : )

Yeah that scan of her being tapped is so dumb,She can literally attack with outside force.She could call down a damn sky bolt through the ceiling and zap everyone in that place,or create a rogue ass wind ...
