Stan Lee Talks About Marvel Movies He Wants To See!

Stan "The Man" Lee gives us some predictions!

Stan "The Man" Lee gives us some predictions!

I am a big fan of celebrating one's birthday for as many days possible. If you are turning fifteen, that means you should be able to celebrate your special day for fifteen days after the event. If you just turned eighty-seven, (like Stan Lee did yesterday,) you should be able to celebrate your birthday for eighty-seven straight days. Alright, maybe my logic does not seem realistic. If everyone was celebrating their birthday's every single day, then no one would get any work done. However, being that it was Stan "the Man's" special day yesterday, MTV was able to catch up with him to wish him well. While they had him on the phone, they asked him a few questions regarding what comic book film adaptations he would like to see develop out of Marvel's massive character catalog. Mr. Lee cited specifically that he could see a Doctor Strange film adaptation, something I personally could definitely go ga-ga over.

"The funny thing is, I think all of them will come to the screen sooner or later because they are always looking for new properties.  Doctor Strange I am sure will be out. You probably know they're working on Ant Man. Every one of the Marvel characters, there is always someone working on one of them...Somebody is trying to put together a story that works."

"It's just a matter of time. you can only do so many a year. You don't want to flood the market. Black Panther eventually..."If they ever want to do a war story, we have Sgt. Fury," he said. "We already have Colonel Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D. who pops up in so many of these. In fact, there might one day be a S.H.I.E.L.D. movie."

"It's just a matter of them sitting down and saying, 'What haven't we done yet?'" he laughed.

I would really love to see a Doctor Strange movie, I think it would be really fantastic. What Marvel property would you like to see turned into a live-action motion picture? What makes it work? What characters do you think would not work?
