I have always thought Black Manta is a ridiculous character that I have never understood how he has been taken seriously as a villain.

Forever Evil looks okay, I do not know if I will pick it up and I just do not know what happened to Finch. His art was so good when he was at Marvel his Moon Knight was amazing but his DC work has just been okay by his standards.

For a second I thought the Firestorm Esque character was Helspont

@mangakid1995: Ivan Reis' New-52 design for Black Manta was incredible. He took a pretty lame design and made it truly menacing. David Finch just totally screwed it up, especially those freaking eyes.

Why is Catwoman on the cover?! She's really not evil or hasn't been ever?!

Finally Nightwing gets to interact with people outside Gotham and Chicago! Yayyyyyyy. It's only been 2 years of isolation.

I think you guys have the story right and didn't think about Dick being Batman, but that's probably what the cover is. But I'm not sure if Earth 3 is really involved exactly, maybe earth prime versions of those characters, I mean we didn't get an explanation for the outsider being in Earth prime, and owlman has already been done and he wasn't from earth 3.

@samuel_simmons: my guess is that during darksied multiverse invasion looking for his daughter he was able to destroy earth-3 those that survive manage to end up in earth prime but that just my theory

The artwork isn't too bad, but the inking is overdone.

Ok..It's just a theory which is may be the Batman we see in the cover is not Batman at all.Because Jane Doe's inclusion in Detective comics annual shown that she is now able to mimic Batman..and of course there is clayface.

David Finch has already said that Batman survives the Trinity War and will be present during Forever Evil

I too am intrigued by how Mirror Master escaped his Mirror World, guess that's something we will find out in the Rogues Villain's Month issue or the Rogues Rebellion mini-series (hopefully!).

My guess is that it could be Owlman in disguise. The Crime Syndicate are supposed to be in this event. And Forever Evil is just basically a flip on Civil War or AvX really. Though it does make more sense for villains to fight each other than heroes really.

Not interested in the event,no matter how much of a focus it has on dick,if anything...the way it looks like the bird symbol is being incorporated into nightwings suit is cool,but no ginger stripes so 2 steps forward....

I cannot wait for this series to launch. People love their villains and the direction DC is moving as a company keeps me wanting more and more

At first I was all "Oh wow, Deadshot hanging with The Rogues!". Then I realized it was Scudder lol.

Unless he's still trapped and that's either Evan or a brand new Master...

I didn't think this concept seemed too exciting, but this preview really looks good. I probably still won't pick it up, but I might look and see how adding it would affect my budget. If only Marvel took the time like DC to actually cultivate compelling stories for their events.
