We might be seeing much more Smallville in the future...
The rumor was that the hit television series based on the life of a young Clark Kent and his superhero friends may not necessarily be going into it's final season afterall. This is awesome news for fans of the show, which has seen success for the last eight seasons on CW network. The television series, which had started out being the story of a young Clark Kent has evolved over the years to feature many of Supes' Justice League buddies. Justin Hartley who plays Green Arrow on the hit series said in an interview with Sci Fi Wire that we may not have seen the last of 'Smallville'!
"Look, they're so busy right now, they don't know if they're doing one more season or eight more seasons or two more seasons,...They have no idea. So we'll see. I've spoken to them a couple weeks ago and had kind of a vague conversation with them about concept and stuff."
I personally couldn't tell if he's been out of the loop, or if we really can expect 'Smallville' to continue for many more seasons in the future. However, if we don't see another season of 'Smallville,' we may be able to catch the spin-off. According to a report on EW , Michael Aussielo told the readers that they are looking to turn 'Smallville' into a possible franchise. The idea is that they would create a spin-off show that would center around one of the many other characters that have already been introduced. I'm thinking that with the popularity of Justin Hartley's character, it would make sense to do a show centered around Oliver Queen. Question is, would you watch it?
