Sinestro and Hawkgirl Playable in 'Injustice:Gods Among Us'

@SNascimento:It was said 24 slots minimum a while back but with the battle area fight bracket in place one of two things will happen, either Nightwing, Deathstroke and Catwoman; along with any new characters will not get a battle arena fight...

or they will open a second tournament bracket in coming weeks.

sadly it is more likely they won't be more brackets for the battle arena since the entire justice league is already in the first :(

Dissapointed with these choices tbh.

I want Sinestro in the game, but as an alt skin for GL, with maybe a different final move and some more "feary-like" attack graphics, the same core attacks, but not as a seperate character no.

Hawkgirl I could care less about, though I'm happy for the people for the people who wanted her.

Really hope they add Swamp Thing, it really is my only request.

Sure Red Hood is cool, sure Mr Freeze and Poison Ivy have cool methods of attack, but Swamp Thing is just so different from any other character that he is a must have.

That was a great design for Hawkgirl, can't wait to use her in the game :) I wonder if they'll reveal or eventually include characters like Red Hood or villains like Hush or Grodd?

Voted for Superman & Hawkgirl.

I'm so excited Hawkgirl is in the game...looks like she'll be my main, that is of course if they reveal Black Canary, Zatanna, Starfire, or Poison Ivy...then I'll have a really hard time deciding who to main.

I think Martian Manhunter is going to be dlc cause in ed boon's crossword puzzle you can find the words (no mmhunter). Im hoping that Raven,Zatanna, Black Canary or Starfire get revealed next

Sinestro surprised me a little, was hoping it was MMH or Doomsday but Sinestro peaks my interest. Hawkgirl ehh. lol I don't hate her but was never a fan either.

you realize Sinestro is probably the most recognizable DC villain outside of bats and supes rogue gallery, and hes a threat go read sinestro corps war and get back to us. I really do want Dr. Fate, Zattana, or Constantine in this game just for a magic element but I know this isn't going to happen. I would also love a Martian Manhunter, Gorrilla Grodd, and hopefully some good boss character (i.e. Nekron, Specter, Apocolypse). Other character such as swamp thing, animal man, creeper, Booster Gold, and metamorpho are pipe dreams

Going by that logic Sektor is useless since he's just a Cyrax clone, after all both are cyborg ninjas that use laser weapons and bombs. Harley Quinn is useless too because she's just a Joker clone, after all both are psycho clowns without powers. I'd say it's pretty obvious NetherRealm will give Sinestro an entirely different playstyle.

Hopefully Darkseid and Martian Manhunter will be the next ones to be confirmed.

They need another black character thats very powerful on this game, instead of just having one black character period.

So they made a HUGE deal about Hawkman not being in the game... and put Hawkgirl in. Cheeky :P

I still think a Red Lantern would be perfect for a fighting game like this. Atrocitus is the logical choice, but if they're lacking female characters, Bleez could be used instead.

@CrimsonCake: Personally, I wouldn't be satisfied. But Zatanna is one of my top three favourite DC characters (after Batman and Catwoman).

Ed Boon said a lot that Hawk Man would never be in his game, but that was all a cloud of smoke to hide the obvious plan to put Hawk Girl in the game instead, good swerve Mr. Boon.. Can't wait for this f'n game, about a month and a half away, providing no delays!

I actually meantioned all these characters and constantine, I just want one magical character.

WOW some people want some weak as characters in this game. I can see Dr Fate or Black Adam (I thought he was all but confirmed) but Zatanna or Raven? Poisin Ivy? Constantine? Who the hell would want to play as them. It's bad enought Harley is in this. What a waist of what could be a good character. There were so many other better female characters they could have used. Super Girl, Power Girl, Black Canary with her voice thingy. Even Swamp Thing could work well. Martain Manhunter too. I always thought Blue Beetle might make the cut because of the options people could have with him. I'm glad Sinestro is in the game tho. I'm hoping they come out with multiple player DLC's too. So many opertunities to do this right. Team packs, G.L. packs. Colored corps member packs, Villain packs like the Rogues, or Supermans enemies in a bundle. Imagine being able to buy Metallo, Parasite, and Brainiac in a pack. that would be so cool.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad one of the hawks made it to the game. Can't wait to hear about the rest of the characters.

is kevin smith a little dumb? all of the rings are technological and powered by emotions. In no way is Superman weak against any of the rings.

I am really excited about Hawkgirl, I like the character and we desperatly need more females.

I am however less excited about Sinestro, he is cool and all but we already have a lantern, I feel like his spot would be better occupied by someone more unique like Zatanna, Swamp Thing, Captain Cold, Martian Manhunter.. etc.. You get the point.

With your logic even Batman shouldnt be in, he stands about the same amount of chance against characters like Shazam and Superman as Zatanna or Raven/Ivy would, except they would be unique rather then another street brawler.

actually Sinestro corps rings have the ability to simulate red sun/kryptonite radiation . the same ability GL's used to have. but i agree with you, Kevin Smith's comic knowledge is kinda iffy (assuming he's not just faking ignorance for the non-comic fans)

Nope, one does not simply be satisfied in a fighting game without playing with a favorite character.

I hope they are putting in Darkseid as a secret boss or bonus character, that would be awesome.
