A Dame to Kill For is my favorite Sin City story. Trailer looks good.

Should I still be excited about a movie that was supposed to be released years ago? I'm sure that I'll make it a point to see it sometime, but I'm in no rush. That said, I'm in the mood to reread the books.

Studios sit on movies a lot. There have been cases when studios have a movie finished for years and don't release it simply cause it wasn't the right itme.

I don't remember if this was the case for this movie or not.

I am excited for it, even more so than all the other movies coming out this year (Sin City is still my favorite CBM). Kinda surprised it has stayed so under the radar.

I'm pretty sure that the events of this film run a bit before, alongside, and after the events of the first.

My thoughts exactly. It looks like it was filmed entirely on green screen but I like the colour schemes

Looks like a pretty awesome trailer. I hope the delay doesn't mean the movie might not be very good. Eva Green is looking hot, she made 300: Rise of an Empire watchable with her performance and hotness.

The Sin City events didn't happen in chronological order. A Dame to Kill For happened before The Hard Goodbye. The Wikipedia page has the chronology listed for those who are interested.

Boss Vallenquist played by Stacy Keach looks like that fat demon from hellraiser 1 & 2

It actually was shot entirely with green screen. Just like the first, the backgrounds were never real.

RIP Mike Clark Duncan

RIP Brittney Murphy

This looks like it could be good though

Continuity problem. Is Nancy messing up her face before Yellow Bastard? If not what's she doing next to Marv looking like that?

Oh. I've never watched the first one so I was surprised. As I watched this trailer I found myself thinking "This is shockingly bizarre" and "I may not be able to take this seriously(... like when I first saw Spartacus.)" I do really, really like the colours though

wow, Mickey Rourke is in a lot more of this than I was expecting, definitely a plus!
