Sif Heading to 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

The Asgardian is set to appear on the ABC show.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is going to have another cameo! Marvel has announced Sif (Jamie Alexander) will travel to Midgard and appear in one of the show's upcoming episodes. As for why the Asgardian warrior is taking a trip to Earth, Marvel says it's for a "very specific mission."

Sif hasn't received much focus in the two Thor movies, so here's hoping she has an extended role and it's not just a relatively brief cameo. If you've fallen behind on the show, does her upcoming appearance make you want to tune in? New episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. air Tuesdays on ABC.

I mean you just don't get it. Cameos are lame. This show has had cameos. Where has it gotten when Fury or Hill were on the show? NOWHERE... that's where. I'm not a hater, I'm just a realist.

This is good. I've really liked how they have been portraying Sif in the Cinematic Universe without all that stupid love triangle slop between her/Thor/Jane Foster.
