There hasn't been too much information about the upcoming Walking Dead spin-off show, aside from the fact the pilot will start shooting in early 2015. However, TVLine had the scoop and they say the new television show will be taking place in Los Angeles. Seeing as that the main show is so popular, but tied relatively closely to the comic book series, fans of both the show and the comic have a broad idea of what's coming down the line.
Things will be completely new for fans on this show, which is currently going under the working title "Cobalt." TVLine couldn't confirm whether the show will actually shoot in LA or if it will filming in a very LA looking city. What we do know about the show is that it will take a look at the early days of the spread of the disease and how the folks living in this new world will try to contain it, and "contain" will most likely be the key word.
What will this new setting bring to the Walking Dead Universe? How about all the fresh meat backed up on the highways, which are already crowded with people? What about all the people at the Chinese Theater? Who's dressed up as a zombie and who is actually a flesh eater?
