I don't have the words for how much I despise alternate realities, (the original AoA being the only exception). I love the X-men to death but I hope this fails hard. It was a chore just to get through the Astonishing issues featuring this crap.

I hate how Marvel uses their popular characters. Don't they know that fans can get sick of characters due to overuse? I am more of a Marvel/X-Men fanboy than a DC fanboy but at least they have the decency to introduce and use new heroes, rather than just using Batman/Superman in every comic, and make them popular like the new Blue Beetle. Unlike Marvel's way of putting Wolverine in every single book. Wolverine, Wolverine and Jubilee, Wolverine and the X-Men, Astonishing X-Men, every single Avengers and then still more. I'm sick of Wolverine! I'm totally Logan-ed out

there should be a ban on how many comics wolverine can be in (regardless if it's a "different" timeline/universe). Marvel has officially made me hate the character due to over exposure and overuse.

So, this is a rehash of Exiles, huh? Oh well, I liked Exiles, and I enjoyed that arc of Astonishing, so I may check this out.

they could have casted this with a more awesome character of the xmen and there are a lot to chose from. There are a lot of xmen i can think of spinning in my head right now.

Exactly. This title, as good as the premise is, is a complete waste. It would have been better to have "Dazzler and The X-Kids" or something focusing on Dazzler and the rest of her street team, this is just a waste. What's worse, they're crapping on the ethos of the REAL X-Treme X-Men. I'll still pick it up for Dazzler, though, but still.

Emma looks good but if there must be a Dazzler series, why didn't they do something like "Dazzler and the X-Kids" or something about the street team with Dazzler, Boom Boom, Lifeguard and someone else? Uff, i'd love something like that

all i see here is: people complaining about wolverine, people that dont know anything about the characters and still complain and people complaining that storm isnt in it. dont post if you dont like it.

While in the alternate reality Cyclops sabotages the machine, defeats alternate Xavier, before being dragged back to his main universe by main storm and main Emma all the while being able to convince alternate Storm, alternate Emma, alternate Nightcrawler, Alternate Wolverine, and Alternate Shadowcat to save the alternate world the right way...

Hopefully they bring back some of the exiles like Morph, Blink, and maybe even Spider-Man 2099

Please just put Blink on this title, apart from Dazzler, and the prospect of having a fun Nightcrawler around, the characters completely un-interest me.

I'll give the first arc a try, but not having Storm in it is rather disapointing. Still nice to see Dazzler getting some love.

Agreed on the bait and switch. Though I did love the Exiles, and X-treme kinda ran into a wall near without resolving a whole lot.

better than Larroca's usual stuff. His Pencils (?) are so bare-boned you may as well co-credit the colorist whose work is shown more.

I know the guy can draw, I've seen some old pencils his did in he 90s.

That cover looks ridiculous due to the gun so I will buy it just for that.
