The film many X-Men fans have been dying to see, Gambit, now has a director for its Oct 7, 2016 release. According to EW, Rupert Wyatt, who directed Rise of the Planet of the Apes, will helm the film. More recently, Rupert Directed The Gambler, starring Mark Wahlberg.
Channing Tatum will star as the titular character and produce the film alongside Reid Carolin, Lauren Schuler Donner, and Simon Kinberg.
Gambit is set to come out on Oct 7, 2016.
