I'd rather see the Boba Fett movie. Honestly, while I think Yoda is epic in his own right, I don't believe he could hold down his own movie.

Adult Boba Fett. Adult Boba Fett NOW. Ooooo, and give him as little lines as possible and make each one a memorable qoute! I wouldn't mind seeing Yoda's early years, as long as they show plenty other Jedi of the era. Or facial map and de-age Mark Hamill, Carrie Cocaine, and Harrison Ford's faces on younger bodies a la Avatar

Why go backward when we should be concentrating on the future? Those don't sound like bad ideas, but still these rumors are just made to keep us distracted.

Anything relate to Star Wars is fine by me. ;)

I'd like to see a yoda as the main character, and the why the graphics is today, it would look amazing. I really wanna see Darth Vader as the main villain again, hes my favorite villain in Star Wars.

That would give some insight about his species. So far everything about them is a mystery. At least from what I remember.

Han Solo should be the first stand alone. Harrison still gots it. Movie would take place right before VII.

@CaioTrubat: Yeah, we know nothing about Yoda's species. And, that's all it is called: the Yoda's species. Nobody knows anything about it. This stand alone movie could create it. That'd be kinda cool.

Wedge Antilles, dammit! Just take some of the Rogue and Wraith Squadron novels and turn them into movies. They're Mission Impossible IN SPACE!!! With X-wings!!!

@CrimAldan: Odd, considering we seen a lot more of others like him in the Old Republic MMORPG and comic book. I think we can attribute the mystery to GL. For reasons known only to himself, he purposely kept everything about them unknown. Now he doesn't hold the rights anymore, we may see what they are. If the movie surrounds Yoda that is...

If they do do a Boba Fett solo movie, can it please be him getting out of that worm pit thing or after? I'd hate to see this really kick-butt Boba Fett movie only to have in the back of my head "oh yeah, he gets taken out like a little punk after this".

How about this for a plan... a 7th film in never made? Episodes I, II & III are destroyed and forgotten and then all the original theatrical releases come out on Blu-Ray? One can dream...

My son is 6 and he is in the short side. He loves Yoda becouse he is small and strong. I'd lovr to see a Yoda film and it would great for my boy to see that big guys arent always the hero

I would be curious of a Yoda movie only if it covered his life from when he was young. Obviously you couldn't cover 900 plus years of events, just focus on the stuff that was most meaningful, like when he was a padawan himself, where he was born (so we can finally know what the hell race he is!), how he rose to Jedi Knighthood and eventually became a Master. That I would definitely go for!

Yoda gives the mouse 900 years of back story to work with yoda as a padawan or hell even a knight would be cool.

How much cooler was Boba Fett before Episode II? How about the Force before the midichlorians? I think less is more with Yoda. Too much back story bogs down the real story. Forward. Create new myths. It's much harder, much more daring, and much healthier for the franchise.

I wouldn't like to see a movie completely on Yoda. I wouldn't pay money to see it.

They should have a story where old Yoda is trying to help this one planet stop this devastating, planet destroying space anomaly. They discover this thing we'll call 'midichlorian matter' that creates black holes, to try to stop the anomaly. But they are too late and the anomaly destroys the planet. A native ship led by its passionate captain, Captain Oren, along with Yoda's ship, get sucked into the wormhole created by the midichlorian matter and end up travelling back in time 20 years prior to Episode 1, where the now vengeful captain Oren f**** some s**** up, forever changing the timeline of Episodes 1 - 3 while waiting for Yoda's ship to appear. Old Yoda and the Jedi council must team up to stop Captain Oren.... and Episode 1 - 3 never happened.

Also, Yoda must ensure his parents meet, but runs into some follies when his own mother falls in love with him!

Young Yoda.......nuff said.......

A movie about Yoda could be interesting and I'm open to the idea of a standalone Star Wars movie.

This could be interesting, What I don't want however is a film that completely tells his origins, One surrounding events some time throughout his Jedi career though would be great.

There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. I'd rather them just focus on the new trilogy. I don't need side films, at least not right now.

What I really want to see is a movie adaptation of Starfighters of Adumar.
