Rick Remender Adds More Members to UNCANNY AVENGERS Roster

Still don't have any characters I care for enough to pick this series up

I don't know to much about Wonder Man, but I really really liked the Revengers story, and I kind wish he stayed a baddy for a while. Oh well. I don't really like Wasp tho. Neve did. Sunfire being another mutant just makes this book more interesting. I have faith in Remender. Since when do we get Home Depot pop-ups on here as well.

From what I read , and yes I was one of the 300k, it was purely on potential.

Just accept things sometimes,maybe your "favorite character" is something other than you thought,the character wasn't changed,you just thought wrong...

This is rather neat.

I also thought Sunfire was underused. Good to see someone try something with him.

Also, I funny it sad and funny that Havok is supposed to be the leader, but every promotional image and cover of UA shows Cap in the middle/focal point while Havok is off to the side.

I'm stoked for this! Sunfire is a real wildcard, he could definitely spice things up a bit. I'm also sort of hoping Wonder Man will revert back to his Hollywood movie star personality, complete with red jacket and ionic jet pack!

Its about time Sunfire got used again though last I remember he was paralyzed from the waist down

God I was hoping Wonder-Man would show up soon! I loved the two annuals that focused on him and the Revengers. Glad he's back.

I think Cap asked Havoc because he not only wants the public to know that he trusts mutants (like Cyclops' brother) but to also let the Mutant Community know that Cyclops hasn't made it so that mutants are now ordered around by humans (Cap isn't ordering around the X-Men). I think that Cap isn't only a natural leader, but also knows when to stand aside and let others lead. He is a good soldier too, and can follow orders too.

WAIT, when did Wasp return? What? Just out of nowhere! I'm thinking cool Wonder Man is an Avenger again. Then I spot Wasp? Someone can you fill me in? Is there a series I need to pick up now?

And didn't Sunfire loose his legs?

Man, even the characters look bored! They should've given Remender Storm and Brother Voodoo like he wanted. Grr.

I don't get it. When Cassaday redesigned the X-Men for Astonishing X-Men, they were arguably some of the best and most iconic redesigns ever.

Having a mixture of Avengers and X-men on this team could be interesting, but I don't know about Wonder Man. He's always been a tiny bit of a crybaby.

Olivier Coipel should just take over as the regular artist. Marvel should've learned from Astonishing X-Men that Cassaday can't keep up a monthly.

Yes, Sunfire is the ultimate example of the best that mutant kind has to offer. The fact that most of this line-up look down their noses at Cyclops is laughable.

Wonder Man is one of my favourite characters and I was wondering what would be happening.

last i saw of sunfire rogue took his powers permanently and also he lost his legs back in the rogue ongoing series a few years ago. how in the world is he all of sudden not only repowered but has new legs? they could say the phoenix came back his powers (i guess) but no other depowered mutant (moonstar, jubilee, etc) have regained their powers. that is something they need to clarify. are there just new mutants or did depowered mutants get their powers back? glad to see the wasp back i would have preferred here with the new avengers but yeah girl power! three of my fav characters on the same team (rogue, scarlet witch, and wasp). in the future i would love to see a fun girls night out issue once all the heaviness of "marvel now" has subsided

Yeah I know right? Wonder Man attacks the avengers directly and goes on Tv to denounce them and makes everyone question their purpose and as soon as he asks for forgiveness which was COMPLETELY out of character he gets back in. Still a hero though he escaped his prison

Cyclops who was working side by side with captain america sometimes gets the cold shoulder and high level of expectation all of a sudden goes dark phoenix and helps to restore the mutant population, But is branded a villain because he escaped his prison.

I'm glad that Simon is back! IMO the evil, angry, 'misguided' angle Marvel has been forcing on him was just too... forced.

Man, I was really hoping they were going to keep the AoA Sunfire costume. It's a much better design

I found the initial roster to be very boring. But all three of the additions are great choices. Good to see Wonder Man back on the side of the angels, especially on a team with his old flame Scarlet Witch. Likewise good to see Wasp back in action. The most exciting addition is Sunfire though. He's one of the oldest X-Men, but for some reason he's always ignored. His addition might be enough to convince me to keep reading this book, even though I'm not loving it yet.

Does Marvel really need Wolverine in a book to sell it? Wilvie and Rogue wreck it foe. I like the addition of Wonder man and Sunfire.

I'm happy with the choices to add to the team but I gotta say I was excited for a smaller team so that way none of these characters suffer background character syndrome .. If Remender handles this like he's handling Secret Avengers I'm sure it'll turn out fine, but still

Man, Sunfire came way out of left field. I can't even remember the last time I saw him in anything (Not counting his AoA self in UXF).

I'm going to enjoy these new additions. I'm glad to see Sunfire back. That costume is a classic. Wonder Man is cool as hell too. I'm still confused how Wasp came back to life

Wasp, Wonder Man, Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Thor....it's kinda like Avengers vol. 3 all over again. Instead of Justice and Firestar you've got Havok and Sunfire.

Um, so two heroes turned villain have become heroes again?

They could have made a better choices...

Certain press releases say this Wasp funding them will cause problems for her, interesting to see how that'll turn out

Sounds awesome! I just wish they'd be more on top of things and get the books out on time. Maybe Cassidy is just generally slow, I hear Astonishing X-Men suffered massive delays.

Yeah Wonder Man has made a complete turn around again and is trying to do good again so he's going to be forgiven, Wanda was instantly forgiven because they needed her to fight the Phoenix Five....so my bet is within 2 years Cyclops is going to have his redemption and will be leading the Uncanny Avengers.

Did I miss Janet coming back to life at some point? I've kinda been out of the Marvel loop a bit. Cool new members regardless.

For some reason, I really, really HATE this line-up! I think I'd be much happier if Cap, Logan and Thor were replaced. I like those characters but just not on this team.

It's kind of a shame because I find that while his art is nice, it's not necessarily good for all types of heroes or story lines. Some of the characters on the cover, for example, look really awkward.

I still don't love that lineup but I'm happy to see Jan.
