New information revealed at Dragon-Con!
During the "The Future Of Star Wars" panel discussion in Atlanta this past weekend at Dragon-Con, it was revealed that a live-action "Star Wars" television series would be released by 2012, but that the only people with any real knowledge of the plot and how far along the project is in production is George Lucas, Rick Callum and the writers on the series.
Steve Sansweet who conducted the panel discussion indicated the pre-production on the live-action television series would begin soon and go through until the new year. He also stated that the writer on the project have been working hard at it for quite some time.
A couple of years ago Rick McCallum (producer) said that he would consider it, and I would expect news from Daniel’s camp in the not-too-distant future.
According to the report, there has been no indication of casting save for the rumor that Daniel Logan may reprise the role of Boba Fett ("Attack Of The Clones") in the television series.
