Quasar Returns...And He's Evil

Uh oh, just when you were getting excited over Quasar's return, this is taking a new direction.

I know there were a lot of people excited that he was returning (to a physical body) but check out the new image that Marvel sent over:


Two words come to mind, "uh" and "oh."  Thoughts on this?

Er... I look at this picture and I have no idea what's going on. What is this? Is that Captain America and Thor? Looks like some kind of evil cosmic Avengers. Apart from being the follow up to War Of Kings I have no idea what this is about. Looks cool though. I'm intrigued to say the least. Which I guesse is what they where going for.

I always wanted to get into the cosmic side of comics but I buy enough comics already. But if a team of space Avengers is what it takes then so be it. I'M IN. 
 
Still I don't want to buy too many extra books for this

Not really reading Realm of Kings/War of Kings, in fact I was just planning on starting Guardians of the Galaxy (if that is even part of the arc). But this looks interesting.

All the costumes look great but wouldn't you think a Cosmic Captain America would have a cooler looking gun?   At least one that looks like Star-Lords gun. Then again it could be a "noisy cricket"

That's what I was thinking? Maybe he'll find a way to override that limitation. Or maybe he's using the Nega bands.

Nope, she's still kickin.  She lost the quantum bands and they changed her powerset.

Marvel cosmic is amazing, pick up Nova or Guardians of the Galaxy and you will be blown away.

This looks GREAT!!! I was trying to guess who everyone was, but then I remembered the whole "Fault" sub-plot where there's breaches into Alternate Universes, so these are all probably "What if?" versions. 
 
However, if they ARE all pre-existing characters, I'm guessing "Thor" is Ragnarok, and "Iron Man" is Super-Adaptoid. The evil "Captain America" just looks awesome, though...Wow, this has me stoked!

I don't know why quasar has evil versions of Cap, Thor, Ms. Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Giant Man and Iron Man, but they look flippin'  awesome! 
Then again, maybe they're not evil.... Maybe they're manifestations of Quasar himself and the poster's misleading. Like he's provoking evil..... 
Or maybe he's come back from the dead for the dark side.... Either way, the Marvel Cosmic Universe looks awesome.

What is this, the Cosmic Dark Avengers? Am I the only one who thinks this looks like Marvel hitting a low-point with a lack of new ideas? Are they now recycling stuff that is still current? I mean, I'll hold judgment until I see what this is really all about, and the costumes look cool anyway, but I'm not intrigued by this.

I don't think that's Raganarok in this image. Presently he's still on Earth and he has yet to face Thor yet. And Beta-Ray Bill wields a different hammer. Though I could be wrong I'd still prefer if this was a new character.

From the way it looks they are from the future that Adam connected to the universe to prevent it from collapsing. Don't dis marvel cosmic until you've read it.

looks good.  not into the whole cosmic thing.  Been reading some of the green lantern, but all the differant new corps and blackest night is kind of interesting so far. Quasar looks great tho

FINALLY!!!  I was hoping they did something with the Magus from the guardians of the galaxy back in the day  and I see he bought some  alternate universe buddies with him.  Some ppl seem to have forgotten that  for the turn of a corner this was Adam warlocks' destiny and now they  fell into the trap and became the magus it only makes since that the traveled around the timeline and found a few friends.  It would be cool if they added the phoenix "the male version from the guardians universe" into this storyline

I reckon that Evil Giant-Man might well be the Giant-Man infected in Marvel Zombies, he's currenly messing with the multiverse in Marvel Zombies Return
