Preview: MAGNETO #9

I can't wait to see Magneto's rage cut loose again. He is like 40% of the reason I've gotten excited about Axis.

This. This is the confrontation I have been waiting for since Uncanny Avengers launched. Since Red Skull defiled the corpse of Charles Xavier. Since Magneto got his solo series. The Despicable Nazi bastard, The Red Skull vs. The Master of Magnetism, Magneto. This will be a fight for the ages.

I just hope this event brings Magneto back to full power!!

As cool as that would be. I worry about how a solo book could work when he can just win every fight with a wave of a hand and doesn't have to be tactical.

Let's just hope this book doesn't suffer because of this big event. That seems to happen a lot.

From the previews that i've seen, he's gonna need to be at full power. and he'll still need his tactics!

Based off last issue I think it's more likely he will only be able to go back to full power temporary bursts using MSG. The way he has done things in the series so far is not how he would do things at all of he was still fully powered. He even points out in an inner monologue almost every issue about he could have just ended this in a few seconds before, and then goes on to use his limited powers tactically to win. Usually resulting in him getting pretty torn up along the way.
