Preview: AVENGERS #24.NOW

Dem variants are hilarious. I wish they were collected. One book, composed of all the variant covers. Some ay I'm going to have to go back and read Hickman's Avengers. I'm getting though his FF/F4 right now.

To the people whining that they've got no interest on this. Why are you viewing the article? I've no interest in lots of books but I don't go and comment on how uninterested I am.

Whats with all the X-men in the covers? Are they crossing over in this story arc, I am a little bit confused what this is going to be about.

The guy at my LCS had both this week's and next week's books on his shelves this week. Something about the holiday really messing with his shipping schedule or something like that.

Bottom line: I've already bought and read this issue. It's pretty good.

Uncanny Avengers is canon.

Remember a year go when marvel was like "AVENGERS & X-MEN WILL NOW BE CLOSELY TIED TOGETHER YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY IN BOTH FRANCHISES" and then its never really happened in a substantive way (except Uncanny avengers which at the moment isn't canon)

Because comics need more time travel stories? Can't we be done with them and alternate worlds for a while.

Cool variants, though. And the $4.99 tag usually means the comic is bigger than normal.

I'm guessings Avengers is adopting the Superman Unchained style of releasing stop amount of variants, ruins the concept of variants for me. The preview does look awesome but I haven't been keeping up with Hickman's Avengers.

And what up with Marvel putting their prices for these issues up to $4.99, I hope this isn't a glimpse for the future price of their comics.

I love the ultron one. I've been hoping to see a Days of Future Past movie poster with the punch line on it saying "This Movie: Everybody dies!"

Man could not agree with you more. It works with Dickens though because I don't have to wait a damn month to get the next part of the story. It's the reason why I've started reading Hickman in trades. His stuff reads infinitely better that way.

I like Hickman's ideas, but I find that he's often too long winded. He's needs to be a little more concise in my opinion. Sometimes I feel like I'm reading Charles Dickens.

That Ultron variant is pretty awesome... hope it's not too expensive.

Hickman and Ribic together again? Definitely picking this up. Those two always deliver

Nor do I....I found Hickman's whole run till now very underwhelming (including infinity)....

I don't care about this at all.. but I want that cover with the animals..

why's this now $4.99? I'll still get it but hope we at least get extra pages.

The guys who run my shop are gonna pretty much be closed all next week so they put this and Origin II out a week early! Didn't pick it up though as I read neither Avengers or am interested in another Wolverine origin.

Dammit Hickman! You've done it again you genius you!

Does anyone know why the issues that follow this one are not advertised as rouge planet part 2, 3, ect? Ribic is also not doing art for the issues in Jan, Feb or Mar. I think he is going back to Thor in early 2014, I was really hoping for a whole arc on Avengers with Ribic's art. I'm not so sure this is worth buying if it won't be continued with Ribic.

I'm so excited for this! As phenomenal as Infinity was, I'm really excited for a new story arc
