I'm so excited for this! As phenomenal as Infinity was, I'm really excited for a new story arc

Edited by TheMantisShrimp

Does anyone know why the issues that follow this one are not advertised as rouge planet part 2, 3, ect? Ribic is also not doing art for the issues in Jan, Feb or Mar. I think he is going back to Thor in early 2014, I was really hoping for a whole arc on Avengers with Ribic's art. I'm not so sure this is worth buying if it won't be continued with Ribic.

"Welcome to the Avengers, Rogue. I hope you survive the experience."

TOO SOON, MARVEL!

The guys who run my shop are gonna pretty much be closed all next week so they put this and Origin II out a week early! Didn't pick it up though as I read neither Avengers or am interested in another Wolverine origin.

The faces look real weird on the cover

Nor do I....I found Hickman's whole run till now very underwhelming (including infinity)....

Hickman and Ribic together again? Definitely picking this up. Those two always deliver

Posted by CaptainHoopla

WTF, are 240 variant covers really needed?

Was thinking about dropping this title but the preview really interested me.

Tom Brevoort has said that the rogue planet thing is a one issue story.

Edit: Here.

Not picking it up and damn... sooo many Variant coverss... and they look sick!!

That Ultron variant is pretty awesome... hope it's not too expensive.

I like Hickman's ideas, but I find that he's often too long winded. He's needs to be a little more concise in my opinion. Sometimes I feel like I'm reading Charles Dickens.

Love all variant arts! Awesome!

Posted by TypH

couple cool covers here, story looks good to. Really love the two covers that look vintage.

Posted by Bloxxeh

That Deadpool variant.

I can't wait till Avengers and New Avengers collide

Sweet.

Man could not agree with you more. It works with Dickens though because I don't have to wait a damn month to get the next part of the story. It's the reason why I've started reading Hickman in trades. His stuff reads infinitely better that way.

Edited by MatteoPG

@spinningbirdcake: well, if you're waiting for a sequel on Dickens' stuff you might have to wait a little while longer.

all grown up Franklin Richards!! This guy is awesome!

I love the ultron one. I've been hoping to see a Days of Future Past movie poster with the punch line on it saying "This Movie: Everybody dies!"

I'm guessings Avengers is adopting the Superman Unchained style of releasing stop amount of variants, ruins the concept of variants for me. The preview does look awesome but I haven't been keeping up with Hickman's Avengers.

And what up with Marvel putting their prices for these issues up to $4.99, I hope this isn't a glimpse for the future price of their comics.

Posted by Kerrigan

Because comics need more time travel stories? Can't we be done with them and alternate worlds for a while.

Cool variants, though. And the $4.99 tag usually means the comic is bigger than normal.

People complaining about covers they don't have to buy lol.

Posted by spinningbirdcake

@matteopg: Haha yeah I would be waiting wouldn't I? Though I've never finished any of Dicken's novels and thought "all right but I want more."

Posted by WaveMotionCannon

Can't wait for this to drop. Love Hickman's stories.

I have to have the Vision and Wanda cover and Deadpool twerking.

Remember a year go when marvel was like "AVENGERS & X-MEN WILL NOW BE CLOSELY TIED TOGETHER YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY IN BOTH FRANCHISES" and then its never really happened in a substantive way (except Uncanny avengers which at the moment isn't canon)

These Covers should of come out then

Uncanny Avengers is canon.

The guy at my LCS had both this week's and next week's books on his shelves this week. Something about the holiday really messing with his shipping schedule or something like that.

Bottom line: I've already bought and read this issue. It's pretty good.

Posted by Mrfuzzynutz

Whats with all the X-men in the covers? Are they crossing over in this story arc, I am a little bit confused what this is going to be about.

@novemberx2: What are you talking about? Uncanny is canon

This.

To the people whining that they've got no interest on this. Why are you viewing the article? I've no interest in lots of books but I don't go and comment on how uninterested I am.

Posted by WaveMotionCannon

@consafo80: because its cool to be obnoxious and a D bag

Posted by frogjitsu

Dem variants are hilarious. I wish they were collected. One book, composed of all the variant covers. Some ay I'm going to have to go back and read Hickman's Avengers. I'm getting though his FF/F4 right now.
