Planet Hulk Video Clips

The release is getting nearer.

Marvel is getting ready to release Planet Hulk on DVD and Blu-ray on February 2.  From these clips it appears that they are sticking pretty close to the original story in the comics.  Greg Pak is even listed as a writer for this movie.

In case you missed the comics, Earth's heroes (the Illuminati) decided that the only way to keep us all safe from the destructive force of the Hulk was to send him to another planet.  They could've tried to find a cure but building an interstellar spaceship was easier.  The ship goes off course and Hulk lands on a gladiator-type planet ( Sakaar).  The fun soon begins afterwards.

A couple of clips have made their way online.  The first is an exclusive clip that MTV scored showing Hulk when he first arrives on Sakaar.

EDIT: It seems this video is not working here.  If not, you should be able to see it on MTV Splash Page's site.

The second clip was posted by Marvel and shows Hulk in the arena fighting for his life.

(Apologies to overseas users that are prohibited from watching).

Are you looking forward to watching this?  If you've seen the recent Hulk Vs. features, you have an idea what to expect.  I am a little surprised that they decided to adapt this storyline.  Us comic book readers know it was a great arc and really brought consistent greatness back to the Hulk.  It doesn't seem like something that (crazy) non-comic book readers might fully get into.  Let's hope I'm wrong with that.  But what I'm really hoping for is that this will lead into a World War Hulk movie (or movies).

The first one says it's no longer available for me.

The second one works fine...that's some really gory stuff for a Marvel movie, though.

@iLLituracy: Are you one of the "overseas" folk?  If so, I know MTV doesn't allow others to watch their videos for some reason.  I couldn't remember if Marvel let's the whole world watch 'em.

@G-Man: Nope, I'm very much in the U.S of A. I can prove it but it'd require me videotaping myself doing something stupid of some sort and that'd take way too long.

The first clip doesn't work for me either and I'm right here in the U.S of A.  The second clip works fine though, I'm looking forward to Planet Hulk

My brother is so lucky... I was going to get this anyway but now that I know that it comes out on his B-day might as well get it as a present for him.

Can Marvel please just make a animate about someone else other then the Avengers, Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine, and Iron Man. They have all these great characters and they have done nothing with them. No wonder Disney bought them.

I've seen the clips, the movie's looking good. Yeah, I also would want Marvel to make an animated movie about the other characters. What I do want to see however is at least 1animated Spider-Man movie.

Wow, that was a LOT more graphic then I would of expected this to be.

I normally stay away from recent animated stuff because of how toned down the violence is compared to earlier times, but this looks cool.

This looks amazing

Hulk didn't actually fight  in the 2nd clip G-Man but it looks good

@FoxxFireArt: That alien's who eyeballs just ripped out his skull was beyond bloody!

@Leliel:
Well, "beyond bloody" is a bit strong, but it is very surprising how violent this is. Like with the scene of the bug guys being popped.
