Official Poster for The CW's 'Arrow' Released

A poster for a TV show? Why not?

In case you've forgotten, there's a new superhero TV show coming this Fall. The CW will debut Arrow, a show based on Green Arrow, on October 10th at 8 pm ET/PT.

A poster for the show has been released but it looks like it might have been a little rushed.

Guess he forgot to put on his actual costume before this pic was taken. The show stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen and is under the creative control of Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and David Nutter.

The synopsis appears to be sticking close to the actual comic origin with Ollie being marooned on an island and learning to survive on his own for five years. You can bet you'll be hearing a lot more about the show around here in the coming weeks.

Well I think its trying to do its own thing. Which is good but I am will remain cautiously optimistic.

Can't fugure out why they changed small things like him being referred to as "Arrow" instead of "Green Arrow" and the show being set in Starling City, not Star City. These changes are so insignificant, unnecessary and thus bothersome that it boggles my mind

Im suprised that they actually gave him a beard in the trailers. I mean, it covered up that face for like 5 seconds :P

Not bad. And he's probably not in a costume because CW probably thinks the show, and the actor, is more marketable without one.
