Official Green Lantern Movie Trailer!

The official Green Lantern movie trailer has finally hit the web and was posted on Youtube! I admit, it's basically everything I thought it would be- a distinct origin story. It just seems like the trailer gives away a lot of the movie...but hey, at least it's something!  Okay, so there are Spanish subtitles, but that's not really the end of the world. What do you guys think of the trailer? Are you excited about the movie? Do you like Hal's suit?

Honestly... I am excited to see it, but i don't expect much.
Ryan as Hal just... doesn't seem to work right now. But I may be proven wrong.
and.. like i said before.. the effects/cgi look like crap. 
Thor's movie trailer looked alot better. I think next year Marvel will outdo DC in the movie making.
 
Please prove me wrong WB!!!! 
 
EDIT: BTW, i did have a nerdgasm when i saw Sinestro =3

Made a blog about this should delete it anyway I think the it looks great I think his eyes should be glowing green and I am worried more about Blake Lively then Ryan Reynolds but overall it looks great. And it was annoying fans judged after the thirty second teaser last weekend.

I'm really looking forward to this. Visual effects clearly aren't finished they keep using jump cuts so they only had to render select sequences. To be honest I've always seen Reynolds as Hal so I'm hoping this movie is good. 
 
And who cares whether DC are trying to pull an Iron Man, Iron Man was good wasn't it?

I think they are talking about the fact that stylistically, this trailer looks a lot like what we saw in the Iron Man trailers. Same feel. I can totally see that. 
 
I don't think they were referring to "who came first."

I will definitely see this, but I'm not going in with too much high expectations... I really want to enjoy this movie.  I didn't like the effects of the ring, it was too smokey and not glowy enough :P

Looks pretty good. I kinda think Hal's personality is a tad bit off, but still looks nice. Hector looks pretty cool. Hope his head gets even bigger though :)

@Babs: I failed to say that the elements of this trailer similar to Iron Man were there since Hal was made so it's not trying to be Iron Man just it's source material.

I did not however like Blake in this trailer. She says one line and I just didn't believe her as Carol Ferris. How is that possible. How do you mess up one line. :(

I loved this. My only issue is that the suit still looks like it's contrasted wrong in the scenes in the apartment. It's very obviously CGI, and it needs to blend in better. But it's also obviously unfinished, so I'm not too worried.

No, I think it's more than just that. I said the style of the movie, not only the concepts revolving around the character.

The trailer looks nice. At first, I didn't know what to think about the costume, but now that I got a good look at it, I think it looks cool. I'm pretty optimistic about this movie.

It seems very weak.  I know not much of the Green Lantern, but if I was a fan, I'd be disappointed in the shitty CGI right off the bat.  Oh well, WB tried...

EDIT: based on what i've seen im disappointed, waiting for that Thor trailer though..:P 
It looks ok but ugh, it should be soo much better, i really hope this is DC's equivalent of Iron Man or else it will be a disappointed.

Wow Abin Sur, Tomar Re and Sinestro looked incredible. I was very impressed. I really geeked out when I saw Tomar. He's always been a favorite of mine for some reason.
 
I felt though that Blake's acting seemed a bit stiff. At least from what I saw.
